Ruby's was a great place to stay and we wished we could have stayed longer but our schedule didn't allow

A home away from home and the owner is helpful and friendly.  A quiet location close to the ferry.

Great location. Room was clean bright and airy.Would highly recommend.

We were in the upstairs room, so much space and interesting features.  Plenty of comfy seating, loved the window seats/day beds.  Fabulous location, close to what we needed.  Ralph the owner was lovely.  I wasn't so keen on only having one sink for our dishes/bathroom but overall that was a small thing .

Stayed in the deluxe suite, which is a large attic-style room (more like a studio flat really, there is plenty of space) with an ensuite, up a flight of stairs. The stairs are inside a completely private lockable entrance. 

High ceilings. The architecture is interesting, allowing an abundance of windows which let in natural light from every angle and some views of the surrounding town. Window seats to lay on, very comfy large modular couch, small balcony. Mini fridge, toaster, kettle tucked away in cupboard. Generous extra blankets and pillows supply. Comfy mattress. Room for extra sleepers on floor or couch too. Little table and chairs. Good gas faux fireplace heater, as well as air conditioner. Easy to park, walkable to main road. 

Cosy quiet nest to explore surrounding beach towns, will return!

Quiet street, new facilities, clean, plenty of space, heat pump warmed up the place nicely on a cold winters night. Delicious takeaway fish and chip shop around the corner. Ralph was very welcoming. Caught the car ferry across to Sorrento to continue our journey up the coast from Melbourne to Sydney. Would stay again.

This was a long  overdue trip to Queenscliff for The Blue's Train and  sightseeing
Lucky for us Noelle was able to give us a 2  night stay .
Ralph was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival .
We stayed upstairs in the spacious as  deluxe suite , loved the craftmanship of the room 
Couldn't have been more happy with our accommodation, 
Ruby's is so close to the town centre for everything , a bite to eat,  takeaway coffee , restaurants, for sit down meals or just a drink in the sun and grocery shop  if you need anything for you stay.
The information centre is a must see and they do walking tours of the town , 
Now that we can travel more we will pop again soon :)

Finally got to stay at Ruby's in beautiful Queenscliff

Upstairs apartment spacious, clean and relaxing. Gas fireplace a nice touch in our winter visit. Door to upstairs balcony a bit stiff. Owner who greeted us (Ralph) thoughtful and charming. Extra towels for second night provided in bathroom cupboard. Basic appliances - fridge, toaster, kettle, adequate for our needs. Bathroom had good size shower. Had a lovely time.

Due to an accommodation issue in Ballarat we decided to change our destination to Queenscliff.  Hunting online for somewhere to stay at the last minute we found Ruby’s.  What a lovely place. Ralph was very welcoming.   We stayed in a two room cottage to the side of the owner’s home.  The accommodation has two spacious rooms, lounge/kitchenette area and separate bedroom with ensuite.  The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster and kettle along with crockery and cutlery.  Lovely fresh decor with sofas and heating in both rooms.  The WiFi is fast and water hot.  There is a shared outdoor space with a BBQ and in ground pool.  Ruby’s is situated in a quiet area and literally a couple of minutes walk from the main street of Queenscliff.  Close to shops, cafes, galleries and a short walk to the water, it’s in the perfect position.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  We’d definitely stay again and would recommend as good value accommodation with style.

Spacious, Close to Everything.

The hosts were fantastic especially given that Wotif had double booked the room.  The lovely host quickly found us somewhere else to stay so we didn’t actually get to stay at Ruby’s place.  This did not appear to be the fault of the accommodation owner but possibly the Wotif website.  Next time we stay at Queens Cliff we will call the accommodation directly.

Rang the day before, as per instructions, but had to leave a message which also was not responded to. Tried again next day and still no response. Sent text message while enroute and this finally elicited a response. Friendly, interested and helpful onsite owner upgraded us to a very comfortable upstairs unit. He made up for the poor communication before.

I booked my parents in to Ruby’s for the Christmas holidays. From the getgo Noelle was so accommodating and friendly. She made their stay hassle free, comfortable and was always on hand to help - nothing was too much to ask. Ruby’s is an excellent place to stay in Queenscliff! It’s clean, comfortable and so close to the beach and the main street. We will definitely be back.

Queenscliff gem

Beautifully appointed separate room with ensuite (#4), pristine, clean, comfortable, quiet but only meters from the main street. All facilities available, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee, milk and tea provided.

There is a barbeque in the communal patio, with chaises and tables.

Narelle the owner was very helpful with directions from the ferry and of course, Queenscliff didn't disappoint as a touristic town, small and quaint and very charming.

Highly recommended!
