Comfy and really well appointed for the price point. Its location is amazing. Across the road from the beach and 100 metres from the shops. 
We were, kindly, contacted when we were late and arrangements made. 

We spent a wintry weekend on the peninsula, mostly hiking, and it was such a pleasure to rest and put our feet up in our room at this motel. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location - the beach is just across the road. A longer stay at a different time of year would have seen us enjoy the  barbecue and outdoor dining facilities.

Had a fantastic stay friendly hosts comfortable room will certainly go back there well located young lady at reception was so helpful beach straight across the road great little coffee shop / cafe only a short walk away thank you

Quiet Hotel just opposite the beach and 2.9 km from Rye. We found the rooms a little old but functional and the bed was plush. Rooms were very clean and as we only stayed one night it was enjoyable and we will be staying here again when we are down this way.

We stayed at unit 4, 6 Nerrin St, Capel Sound, VIC 3940. This is a nice, clean and spacious property and we enjoyed staying here before returning to India. One bedroom on the ground floor with bathroom and two bedrooms with bathrooms on the first floor.  It has a comfortable living room with dining table and a tv. Also has barbecue arrangements and a dining table to go with it. We visited a few beaches and some local hotels. All nice and clean.

The Rye Beach Motel is a standard roadside motel which was clean and comfortable. The bed was satisfactory along with the bathroom & shower. The motel is a few Km's out of town but has a great little all day restaurant right next to it. It had great coffee and even better food (not too expensive)
Bus stop out the front services Rye & Sorrento.
A good budget option for if visiting the Peninsula.

Spent 2 nights here for a wedding on the  Rye Back Beach which was unforgettable due to the gale force winds, rain and the fact that the celebrant's microphone blew away.  The Rye Beach Motel suited our needs for a place to sleep perfectly.  Room was big enough to accommodate us and our bikes, plenty of storage space and good mirror so we could check out outfits before the gale re-organised them. Basic kitchen necessities provided.  Comfortable bed and pillows.  Squeaky clean.  Recommended as a base for exploring the Mornington Peninsular.

Room is good, clean and big. Good Enough space for kitchen. Unfortunately can't cook there as they only provide electric kettle, fridge and microwave. But they do have an outside BBQ area.
Staff is friendly, nice and helpful.
Wifi connection is great!
Bathroom is really clean!
We would definitely put this motel in our top list if we are going to visit the area again.

Good basic accommodation. Clean, neat, comfortable, Cheap and chearful. 
All i needed was a good nights sleep.
Did the trick. Close to shopping centres and across the road from the beach.
Nothing to fault. Checkin was easy

Rye Beach is  pleasant though underwhelmingly dull accommodation which survives in spite of itself due mainly to its location.
Our contact began at check-in with a "reception" ...of negativity ..as though I was an interruption to his day rather than the reason for his day!
The rooms are basic ...clean ...comfortable bed ...hot shower ...all of the expected neccessities ...but none of the niceties which are regarded as normal ...eg ; a small bottle of milk.
Later we attempted to use the BBQ for our evening meal..but it was unsuitable due to its unclean condition...my view ? don't advertise "a BBQ is available when it is U/S...in this case unclean.
I personally was fascinated with the driveway area composed of decomposed granite ...which I haven't encountered for many ...many years...plus no undercover parking ?
and  neighbours who sat at the table less that 1/2 a metre from my door which we had left open due to it being a rather hot day ....and where they smoked non stop ....and the wind did the unforgivable ..blowing their passive smoke straight into our room...and forcing us to close our door and turn on the Air-con...no fault of the motelier ...just poor toilet training on behalf of my neighbours parents ...who failed to teach them basic manners.
The three metre rule by the Government re smoking is like the unwanted smoke ..."it stinks".
  This establishment is self rated at 4 star ...hhhmmm...Poetic licence perhaps?  
would I stay again? ...sorry ..but ..no
