The Vineyard Motel

Very friendly service and nothing was a problem, everything we needed was catered for including a selection of breakfast options of bread/spreads and cereals. 
Our dog was welcome in the room and had a lovely area to walk around the property. 
Excellent water pressure in shower, comfortable beds, good air-conditioning.
My kids loved the egg shaped hanging seats in the garden to relax in.

Lovely motel in an amazingly peaceful setting. You get 360 deg views of the surrounds, Sheep, Vineyards and Canola fields. Rooms are spacious and the beds and pillows comfortable.  Continental breakfast included in the room rate.  Lovely hostess, who had a wealth of information. We took a lovely drive to see the Canola fields after her suggestion.  When you step out your front door in the morning, you see the sunrise, and step out the back you can view the sunset. Perfect spot. Would 1005 stay there again and recommend it without hesitation. 

A nice location surrounded by sheep and vineyards. 6 rooms small breakfast included. The owner was very accommodating and had plenty of information. Not far to town and attractions but good to come back to see sunset and relax.

we had planned just a night halt at Cowra, but fell in love with the place and the Motel. surrounded by green fields, a large neat, and tidy room. the owner/manager was very chatty and briefed us about Cowra as well as what was in the room. very hospitable. enjoyed our short stay.

Sylvia was a fabulous and friendly host who went above and beyond.  The room was basic but big, very clean and wonderfully warm - appreciated on the cold winters day we arrived.  Quiet area and a short walk to The Quarry restaurant.

Very large, comfortable room with underfloor heating. Self catering breakfast provided.balconies on both sides of the room allow for spectacular sunrise and sunset viewing. Sheep in the paddocks give that sense of being in the country and yet a close 3 km drive to town.lovelt hostess

Motel is in a quiet location. The room was clean and tidy and "just right" for what I needed. Check in was very easy and friendly. The area was sufficient to cater for a small dog which was also welcomed. Will certainly return.

Sylvia welcomed us like one of the family.  She was warm and friendly from the moment  i spoke with her on the phone to make our booking.  We were travelling with our dog and she was also made very welcome.  The decor is outdated but everything was very clean and comfortable.  It felt like staying with friends.  We were on our way to Qld and stayed in 2 other places on our trip, this was the only one asking for proof of vaccination and that definitely made us feel more comfortable.  Thank you Sylvia.

Experience the amazing countryside while resting in a cosy and super comfortable room. Watch the sunset with a glass of wine on the front porch and don’t miss the sunrise with a coffee on the back porch. And the welcome is outstanding too. You just feel at home. I will stay again for sure.

Wonderful Hospitality

We decided to drive out to Cowra for one  night and do some sightseeing the next day. Chose this Motel on reading previous reviews and we had a lovely stay. Its not a new motel but very country comfy. Sylvia is such a friendly lady and full of good information on the local sights. In the compendium is a map and a typed itinerary she has put together on the local  sights and which order to visit them. We followed this the next morning and it worked out perfect. Our room was very comfortable with a queen bed. Nice continental breakfast in the fridge of juice, cereal,fresh bread, jams etc and plunger coffee. A small (well priced) mini bar and a selection of local wines in your room. The underfloor heating is the best - it was freezing last night. We turned off the aircon and the underfloor heating made the room so cosy. There was an  electric blanket on the bed, but we didn't need it.  This motel is literally a 2 minute drive from the delicious Quarry restaurant. We recommend dining there. During warmer weather you could walk there.   Thank you for an enjoyable overnight stay.

Very comfortable stay

The Vineyard Motel is situated on the outskirts of Cowra and as it is on the main highway, it is a quiet and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are spacious and are well appointed. The room rate includes a continental breakfast of cereals, juice and toast. This is a good option if you are looking for a simple breakfast option. The grounds are rustic. A delightful place to stay and would happily return.

Comfortable Stay

A little bit out of town (about 4kms), but a great place to stay.  Our room  was clean and comfortable.  It has a little kitchenette, and refrigerator.  The sub-floor heating was amazing given we were there in Winter.  The view is beautiful especially at sunset and sunrise and it is set amongst vineyards.  Being out of town it is serenely quiet.

The owner is very friendly and offers great advice.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful setting with a lovely outlook.

We were very happy here. This motel is on a hill in the countryside just outside Cowra. It is very quiet and rustic. The are very spacious, the beds were comfortable, the shower was excellent and the heating was very good too. The host is very friendly and helpful. It's not a super-modern place so if that is what you are looking for this is not the place for you but it suited us just fine.

Great setting and comfortable

Sylvia (owner) was most welcoming when we came for an overnight stay over the Easter long weekend.

We booked a pet friendly room and brought Hugo (Jack Russell). 

The property is beautiful and is surrounded by vineyards (duh!) - it was a relaxing stay, and we got to enjoy the beautiful sunset in the distance :)

A great pleasant stay in a beautiful location!

Just returned from 2 nights at The Vineyard Motel.  Sylvia the new owner was a delight and is really trying to make a go of this delightful place.  Rooms old fashioned but spotless . Could not fault anything.  One drawback was the WI FI, but Sylvia told us about this on arrival.  After all it's in the country.  Just the ideal  place to unwind after a day of sightseeing with a glass of local wine on the veranda, watching the cows and the llamas in the fields.

Lovely stay in the coungtryside

Stayed for 2 nights over Christmas with our dog. New owners Sylvia and Malcolm are delightful and eager to please. Rooms are older style but very clean and comfortable and continental breakfast provisions provided in room.  Dog was allowed to sleep inside with us which was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.
