We had amazing stay in Gin Gin hotel for 1 week holiday!the unit was clean,comfortable,and perfectly located near local shops,the neighbourhood was quiet and safe.The host were friendly and welcoming,making us feel at home,we'd highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway"Appreciate your caring heartThanks 🙏

Very clean and beds comfortable.only problem was the bathroom light was not working in one of the shower rooms.  Otherwise, lovely and clean.

This pub hotel is a great stop over for the family for the Mackay to Brisbane drive. Price was good, family room was huge, clean and felt like sleeping in a great big Queenslander. Female toilets and showers are refurbished and looking fresh. Pub directly downstairs provided a good meal with Pizza and huge pub meals available. The beer on tap was cold and the outdoor playground was loved by my kids. Stayed here twice now on our adventure to brisbane and back. Also a great coffee shop just down the road in gin gin with toasties & ok coffee for the morning.

the accomodation was clean and tidy and well organised, until a family came the same night, and didn't respect others privacy, plus letting their alarm ring on for 10 mins at 6 am waking everybody else, who wished to sleep in.

I liked that food, drink and entertainment was just downstairs

The owner was very helpful and lovely. We had a few good chats😊

Great price, clean and comfortable family rooms!

This is an old style Australian "rooms above a pub" hotel so its a different experience from a regular hotel. It has more of a communal vibe about it. There is a shared bathroom and small kitchen at the end of the hall for meals. The food at the pub is great and good portions and there is a playground next to the eating area for the kids which is fenced in. Theres a big beer garden out the back of the pub. The facilities are clean and beds comfy and yiu can help yourself to free cereal and toast with spread in the kitchen for breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful.  Book the rooms on the back side if you aren't a fan of road noise as its right on the bruce highway and the trucks are loud. Overall a nice stay.

Classic old style Australian pub hotel.

The ladies at the bar where really friendly! I got flooded out from home and had milk so they offered to put it in the big fridge for me! So a huge thank you!The only thing that needs doing is the cutlery draw and shelves in the guest shared kitchen needs cleaning but other than that the rooms were clean and comfortable!At least I could have a warm shower and a bed to sleep in as I was so wet from the rain and not being able to get home! The best price in town.

The rooms are on the top floor of the pub and are quite basic, the beds (1 single 1 king) were reasonable although there was no where to put the suitcase (4 hooks on the back of the door) there is a shared bathroom, which was very clean but dated.For the price we paid ($80.00) we didn’t expect much, but bring your own earplugs as the noise from the trucks rolling by is quite loud, we had a room fronting the street.

Cheap pub room

Pleasantly surprized by this place. The staff were fabulous and made up for the leaky taps in the room and the bathroom shower which really needed a plumbers attention. The meals were delicious and the bed was comfortable. It’s a little noisy being right next to the Highway with trucks going through during the night but that is to be expected. We would stay again.

I lost my wristwatch when leaving early one morning(05:00 am) and was locked out of the entrance to retrieve it I had to continue my journey as I needed to be in Sydney and could not wait for the hotel to open, I made a phone call to Erin from further down the coast at around 09:00 am and she had found my watch just inside the locked door. She posted it back to my Sydney address that day and I received my watch a few days later, thanks Erin and would definitely stay with the crew at GIN GIN Hotel whenever I am in that neck of the woods

The gin gin hotel has awesome budget accommodation...bed very comfortable...sheets ironed crisply...white as snow...TV ...mirror and towel rail...plus ceiling fan and air con..in the room....the kitchen is fully functional...fridge..oven..basic breakfast items...the shared bathroom is still to be updated...but was good.. especially after a long day of travel...the staff friendly and welcoming...as a solo traveller the $50 charge for the room..is well within anyone's budget...would highly recommend this accommodation...and in the future will stay at the gin gin hotel...

Awesome budget accommodation

Whilst we were enjoying an amazing meal on Tuesday, due to torrential rain, the highway was closed.  We were lucky to obtain the last room in town.  The beds were so comfortable, beautiful sheets and towels and spotlessly cleans.  Rooms have been freshly painted and the floors have been varnished.  We were travelling with my 86 year old Mum, the lovely staff very kindly put a mattress on the floor so 3 of us could fit into the room.  Shared bathroom, very clean.  Can't say enough good things about this property and the food.  Lovely atmosphere, beer garden would be great on a pleasant day.  Thank you to the wonderful team at the Gin Gin Hotel for your help on Tuesday.

Great Food and Room

Truly if you are hungry and want a fresh Burger then Gin Gin Hotel is the place to go to dine.  The BURGERS are absolutely HUGE and DELICIOUS !!!!!
Apart from that the service is great with very friendly staff.
It is lovely to sit out in the outdoor Beer Garden under a tree with a lovely breeze.  
Try it you wont be disappointed.
