Rooms always spotless

15 steps from the sand 
Kitchenette is brilliant, we do a week shop and then don’t go anywhere 
Housekeeping staff are really friendly and helpful
Private, but you still see the other guests in passing so we often have a chat which is nice find out where others are from

Perfect, regulars for 4 years

We spent a wonderful 3 nights - apartment (3) was very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect.
Parking is a bit tight if you have a large car.
Lucky enough to be there to see whales from the balcony.
We look forward to coming back soon.

Relaxing break

We stayed at Watermark for 4 nights. We absolutely loved our stay and loved everything about Watermark. The suite had everything you need, was clean and furnsihed beautifully. The location was superb, we loved being able to walk straight across the raod to beach or to get on path to walk to lighthouse.

Byron Bay wedding

Stayed for 5 nights, beautiful beachfront accommodation. Very relaxed and beautifully styled. Location is awesome. 
We had a car so easy to visit the hinterland behind Byron which is amazing. However if want to stay local, it’s an easy walk into town and fabulous walk to lighthouse. Visit Rae’s for an awesome dining experience less than 5 minute walk. 

Stunning location at Watermark

Excellent position and beautifully appointed suite. Everything you would need for a short break. Stunning views. 
Unfortunately there is a building site next door (which we were forewarned about) but concrete pouring started at 6.30 am!

A very relaxing break

Beachside bliss! Beautiful residence with all the comforts and luxuries. In such a good spot across the road from Wategos. Close enough to town to pop in when you need to but away from the hustle and bustle. 
Well set up for families. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Watermark team!

Wonderful property in an amazing location

Lovely light room with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Right from the start all instructions were clear with easy access to apartment . Well decorated spotlessly clean and good quality linen and toiletries all through. Lovely view and even though it rained for 4 days it was a lovely place to stay...Will definitely return with family  as well.

everything you need in a prime location

We stayed for our anniversary this weekend. Location perfect. Value for money - perfect. Water views - also lovely. So why just 4.5 stars?

Well we’ve traveled a lot and stayed at many gorgeous places so experience tells us that something was definitely missing in order to get 5/5 - what we found could be better were:
1) clearly some odour in the bedroom - which was masked by the very strong reed diffusser in bathroom. The smell was quite overwhelming. Needed to open windows to “diffuse” the diffuser. The day before arrival a number of terms and conditions sent. Somewhat off putting given  there was no flexibility in having a late check out. Guests have to empty bins and put dishes away.  Also no tissue box or sun screen. The washing machine (communal) was also not that accessible.

Overall - It’s definitely lovely and the location and beach definitely gorgeous. So in a nutshell - it was almost perfect. Thanks for the lovely complimentary coffee, nuts and cereal. 

Almost perfect - stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 

We spent a wonderful 2 nights at the Watermark staying in the Studio on the ground floor. It had a lovely view of the beach where my husband and I spent evenings spotting dolphins and sipping our drinks. The view of the beach is a tiny bit obstructed by a few trees, but actually the trees give you some privacy from the street so I appreciated them there. 

Love the fact it was literally 30 seconds from Watergos beach which is quieter and more private beach than the mean beach on Byron so it was great to go for a dip there.  Also love that it’s only 700m walk up to Byron Lighthouse! Bonus! 

The studio apartment is BEAUTIFUL. Big comfy bed, fell sleep listening to sounds of the sea. Love luxurious continental breakfast provided. The only things I would say could be “improved” would be a couple more hooks near the bathroom to hang wet towels would be helpful; and as much as I do love the toiletry brand provided, it would have been nice to have seen a local luxury/organic brand used instead. 

All in all, wonderful relaxing few days, just wished we could have stayed longer! 


Wonderful comfortable stay in a prime location!

From the moment you make the booking till you sadly have to leave, this place and the team who look after you deliver.  Ok, it's not my first time to stay here, and I've already booked to go back. The suite has everything you need for your getaway. The toiletries are thoughtful and of lovely quality. Everything is so so clean. You can buy groceries and pretend you live there or just access the many restaurants and takeaways for the convenience of it. There is an outside shower to rinse off when you return from the beach and the view is unrelenting in its beauty. The instructions you receive to check in via text the day before are clear and concise and there is always the mobile number to call if you get stuck. One more thing. The pictures on the website are exactly as you find the place. It still feels new. I highly recommend a stay here.
