The best thing about the hotel was the staff service. They are always ready to help us out and I would like to specially mention Gurinder, who went out of her way to help us and cater to all our needs. She handled our questions and concerns with lot of patience and her beautiful smile. This hotel is in the heart of the CBD with its prime location to the central station. This makes it very convenient for anyone to access nearby amenities.

Friendly Staff and Amazing Location!

Unfortunately I can not recommend this hotel. The rooms are old and unkept, and even on the top floor, extremely noisy, so it’s unlikely you’ll get a good night of sleep. The staff were also unfriendly and somewhat dismissive, which was a very unusual experience compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed at. 

Old & noisy

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, it's close to the train station and a short walk from shops and restaurants. 
Building is old and stuffy. Appartments are disgusting, filthy, dirty, mouldy and not well maintained. 
We checked in and went to our room and immediately requested a different room as the bathroom was covered in black mould, there was a large stain on the carpet and the sofa was stained/discoloured either way we weren't going to sit on it! 
Second room appeared to be better at first glance and we were keen to get on with our trip. 
Upon retuning later we made some horrifying discoveries, broken blind that couldn't be put down, stain on bed sheets, smelly blankets covered in I'm not sure what possibly dried vomit, dirty splash back in kitchen, filth in bathroom, broken dishwasher, leaking fridge.
After multiple visits to reception we were offered a small % refund. Honestly we would have rather the place just have been clean and tidy. 
We will definitely not be returning to Oaks Lexicon. 


Dirty.

Was in town for a work conference. Place was okay and suitable for purpose of my short stay. Staff were friendly but told me wrong information about check out. As I discussed options for check out. The one I opted for and told them I would do was fine at the time but next morning it wasn't. Also said they tried to contact me but didn't have my number to cotact me. But this was provided on check in. Will tell my work not to book here for anyone again

Okay place for one night stay, information provided by staff is poor

Overall hotel is nice, as it’s looking like building is bit old but staff and location and view as well is really nice. 
Check in was really fast and smooth as well, Gurinda was really nice to talk to.

Staff was impressive

Apartment needs a makeover, looks very tired. Bed cover was stained, housekeeping hit and miss and rips in the curtains. You also get all the roadside noise. Location is good and front desk staff are lovely

Tired apartment, close to restaurants and mall

Great location for business in the city with customers close to hand. Rooms are tired, damaged in places, torn curtains, damaged skirting boards. Generally good enough for self cooking, but cleaning the rooms has been an issue esp bathroom bin from previous occupant was an unpleasant experience.

Oaks Lexicon Trip

bare minimum left  for kitchen supplies, no salt/pepper, no dish cloth/towels no baking sheets, we made our own with tinfoil we bought, no garbage bags, only one element worked. Parking per night was expensive and would of been better off paying more for a different hotel with parking included.  

Overall was a pretty good experience. Friendly staff and lots of help with late check in. Room was week set up and tidy. Parking was good but a bit on the expensive side. Only real issue was small Tv in 1 bedroom didn’t work. 

Overnight stay

Annoyed at the cost as the bedroom tv, the spa and the AC didn’t work properly. If everything was working it would have been much better. Private balcony was nice and had a really nice view from our room.
