Firstly, the Good. 5 Stars. The Miro is beautifully located, close to necessary shopping, public transport, and easy to get to by car. The Apartment was spacious, with all the amenities/features that one would reasonably expect in a 4-star establishment. On-site parking was superb. The booking/reception staff were most competent, friendly, helpful, and courteous. But, the Not So Good. 2 Stars. Aspects of the apartments upkeep, cleanliness and servicing left a fair bit to be desired. It is clear that a manager with authority needs to go and have a good look at, and undertake a detailed assessment of the apartment and allow staff the time and resources to give it a major injection of TLC. A coat of fresh paint doesn’t hide the many aspects of the apartment requiring a total clean, repair, renewal. Of course, we can only speak for the apartment we occupied, however, a quick check of past reviews on The Miro tends to confirm much of what we are saying about our experience. Notwithstanding, we thoroughly enjoyed Brisbane.

Great Location - Apartment a Little Disappointing

The location is awesome and within walking distance to many things.  The apartment was great with everything you need. Unfortunately, our aircon did not work in the bedroom and no natural air.  The bed frame was a cheap metal frame that made noises whenever you slightly moved which was often as the mattress was really uncomfortable.

Spacious apartment, modern facilities including a dishwasher and washing machine, quiet inside the apartment, excellent air conditioning and big TVs in lounge and bedroom. Bed and lounge were comfortable and all in an excellent location!

Lovely stay!

i have been very happy on moro appartements you have a huge space with all the amenities you need even for a long term stay.       the interior design is very well done,  lots and lots of storage , very smartly planned.    hidden closets and washing machine in the bathroom -amazing.

and the design of kitchen and all the cabinets the same perfect.       and last not least i have rarly slept so deeply and long than in miro appartements. it is very quiet and calm.....

the staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful and the location is just some steps away from the james street.    so definitley i would like to come back next year.     thank you very much for creating this lovely place, miro team.

We recently stayed at the Miro apartments, needing one night in Brisbane before joining a Scenic Rim walking tour. Great location with lots of interesting places nearby and an easy walk from the station after catching the airport train. The aprtment had everyhting we needed. Our only complaint is the wifi, hard to connect to, not secure and so slow not worth using.

Great location

Stayed one night for an event expecting a simple and clean. I clearly expected too much and only there to sleep. It seems that the rooms aren't inspected after being "cleaned". Once again, 100% genuine review that I thought was going to be much better.
Glass table wiped with dirty cloth, grease spread on kitchen bench that was half wiped, none of the floors were mopped and were sticky, food and grease on the hob, in and the roof of oven/grill, grease dripping from cupboards and rangehood filter that was out, shower glass to living area filthy, some disgusting build up on the hinges of the toilet, still pee under the front of the toilet seat, hair and non vacuumed next to bin, sink chrome not cleaned, dirty washing machine, dust at shower vent, what looked like snot on the toilet/shower room wall, stuff on wall and edge of benchtop, filthy light switches, marks on balcony wall, dirty sliding door, some fungus above glasses/cups, dirty seal of dishwasher, greasy handles on oven, moved the lamp and a mess there, side of couch dirty, dusty and greasy next to painting on kitchen cupboards, sheer curtains filthy with lots of "stuff" on them, dirty at toilet roll holder, "stuff" on the bedside lampshades.
The plus side is that the sheets were clean. 
I'll let the photos show what we got for the money. I'm not here to have a go at these places, if it's good, I'll give them a good review and same goes the other way. It's only fair.

1 star. Still waiting for security deposit of $200 to be returned. Was told that it wouldn’t come out of my account. Phoned receptionist said that the money had been released and could take up to 10 business days, she suggested I call my bank. Not happy with all this chasing of

Strange  long rectangular apartment. Always light and often noisy. Bed is surrounded only by a curtain like a hospital. The kitchen  is short of utensils, the pots are basic and greasy/ dirty. The shower in long and rectangular, there are no soap holders and you get wet trying to turn the tap on. There are no soap holders at the bathroom sink. The overall apartment is old, worn and quite dirty. Don't look under the couch ! Not worth it.

Old, tired and dirty - OK for a bed only

Miro Apartment exceeded our expectation. It is at the most perfect location - everything was available in few minutes walk (convenience store, restaurants, clubs, bars, you name it. Less than 10 min drive to the city (or 30 min walk). The neighborhood felt safe and was vibrant. Services were stellar with great amenities found in the apartment. Kitchen & essentials were big for a guest like us who travel with a family. Our stay was worth every penny. We will stay here again in the future.

AMAZING Accommodation!

The Miro has a great location along with friendly staff.
Access to Brisbane train services is a real plus.
My room was terrific and the cost could only be considered very competitive.
Will return for future visits
