Unable to get a room in Swansea or Hobart we changed tack and headed south. One of the motels in Hobart gave us the number for the Huon Valley Eco Wilderness Retreat. At short notice Jayne and Geoff readied the spa room for us. We were treated to a clean, comfortable and well appointed spa suite with fantastic views. Geoff and Jayne are on site if needed (via mobile ph) but otherwise we felt we had the property to ourselves. We utilised the BBQ for dinner and had a stunning full breakfast the next morning. Geoff is retiring soon which is no doubt deserved, but certainly a loss to the B & B community.
