Beerwah Hideaway

We stayed at the Hideaway for our daughter's wedding. A beautiful hidden paradise at Beerwah, with amazing staff who made our special event perfect. From the extremely well organised proposal 12 months ago, to the amazing wedding day last weekend, Amanda and the team were brilliant.

Absolutely beautiful, and clean. Staff were excellent, and the room was immaculate. Stunning view outside to wake up to. Peaceful and tranquil area. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

We arrived for an overnight stay before heading to Australia Zoo. Our room was immaculate with attention to detail that doesn’t go unnoticed. The towels, the linen and other touches were beautiful. The room was so clean, the bathroom wonderfully appointed. We regularly stay at 5 star resorts and my wife noted this was the cleanest shower she had seen! The room even had Foxtel with all channels! And we haven’t even had breakfast yet.


We stayed here in Jan 2018, from the moment we drove in the driveway it just looked so peaceful and relaxing. The grounds were very well looked after. The room was very spacious, the beds were super comfy, I woke up in the morning so refreshed. The Foxtel was a bonus! After a long day at the zoo we couldn't have found a better place in beerwah to relax. 
Defiantly would stay again 100%

Amazing little hideaway

Best wedding venue on the Sunshine Coast

Staff are friendly, location good. Yet low quality food & bar options. Plastic flower decorations on the tables years old & covered in dust (how about fresh flowers from your garden or display featuring local hand-made crafts. Eaten here 3 times for events, food is disappointing & poor quality, vegetables/meat dishes overcooked & smothered in dressing & sauces. Best buffets have steamed fresh vegetables/dishes with sauces & condiments on the side.  Salad was drowning in a cheap mayo which ruined it (idea of salad is 'fresh, crunchy & colourful), yet this one was inedible. Desserts look/taste like out of Costco packets, tasting processed (how about home made desserts featuring local ingredients from Hinterland?). A platter of fresh fruit would be better. Bar poorly stocked, charged $4 for ‘home brand’ soda water that I pay .69 cents for a bottle with 8 serves! When out, I want to be served something nice or at least have an option to upgrade. Very basic bar/alcohol selection (what about featuring a cocktail or drink special featuring local produce?). Or how about featuring beers and spirits from a local brewery & showcase some of the Sunny Coast specialties? If there is a theme to the event, why not create a drink that matches the event? They seem like they just do the basics here for everything, yet have so many possibilities right at their doorstep that they don't take advantage of. So much potential here, we hope they improve their food and bar service.
