Beaches Backpackers Airlie Beach - Hostel

So we didn't stay here but ate multiple times at the bar and grill. We walked the Main Street and with 3 kids, 13, 11 and 9 struggled to find a cheap meal and somewhere kids could go. We walked past Beaches and didn't think kids would be allowed in but they were and with the huge menu of $15 meals with drinks included how could we go wrong? Gluten free options kept the wife happy and the party's and nachos kept the kids quiet and full. Live music playing was a bonus and we even played pool as a family which is really hard to find at home on the Gold Coast. Staff were really friendly and helpful. $75 and we all ate like kings and had a great time. Definitely if you have a family don't walk past this place and pass cause of backpackers. It just adds to the atmosphere and you will be glad you went there.
