The Semaphore Blue apartment was very clean, comfortable & spacious. We stayed 5 days & will stay again. Washing machine/drier, washing powder & clothesline provided. Tea & coffee machine too. The owner is very nice & easy to talk to & very helpful. Parking is conveniently located at the back of them with outside covered stairs to the rooms. Semaphore Road is a lovely area to go for a stroll with lots of quirky shops to explore. Great location near all shops, including bakery, ice cream, takeaway’s, cafes & pubs. We had a view of the ocean & street. It was a quiet area. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Home away from Home , absolutely beautiful ambience with Bars,Restaurants, coffee shops, lovely vibe.
Not to mention the beautiful sea a stone throw away , With great fishing spots on the jetty and the fully fitted apartment from washing machine to dishwasher. Extremely modern and will definitely vist again. Also Peter's assistance with our late arrival,  great guy and fabulous place to stay.

stayed not at these apartments but the other ones in Ethelton.The apartments were very clean tidy close to public transport and shops.The owners were very polite professional and helpful.Would highly recommend these apartments to anybody will definitely be staying there again.

I thoroughly concur with the comments from previous reviewers.  We booked 3 appartments for my daughter's wedding at the Palais, easy walking distance around the corner.  The apartments are extremely well appointed, the views from the balconies are wonderful and the location is perfect.  
I would certainly stay here again and thoroughly recommend these appartments to anyone visiting Adelaide and wants to stay in a seaside location within easy walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, etc.

Stayed here with family, loved the location being so close to the beach. Spacious, modern and comfortable (and very very clean!). So much choice of cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. Only drawbacks was stairs up to the apartment from the back of the shops, so if anyone has mobility issues this wouldn’t suit. The entrance is at the rear of food retailers, you can smell the burgers so be prepared to feel hungry. One of the shops is an ice creamery so if a burger and ice cream on your balcony is your thing, then you can’t go wrong with these apartments. I will definitely be back next time I’m in ADL. I also love that it’s a long serving local community family run business. They certainly know what they are doing running this business!! I was impressed overall.

I was attending a family Birthday however, there were many of us are from interstate so we wanted something close to the venue where the party was held plus close to the beach, restaurants and shops.
The Semaphore Blue apartments were perfect for all these reasons. 
Extremely well located. Very well equipped. All the modern amenities one needs. 
Plenty of space if you have couples, families or friends all staying together.
Jim, one of the owners could not do enough for us. Very helpful and accommodating.
The only thing of a concern is the apartments are up 2 flights of stairs. most of the unites have a mezzanine with a single and double bed which is up a flight of stairs within the unit and the shower is over the bath.
If you do not have any mobility issues, these apartments are well worth investigating.

If you are looking to stay in this area, you can’ go past Semaphore Blue. 

Approximately a 50 walk to the beach (yes there are views from your balcony). It’s is on the main shopping strip of Semaphore but surprisingly quiet each of the 3 nights we were there. The apartments are located above retail shops, so keep this in mind if you have mobility issues as access is only by stairs.

The property is directly across the road from Foodworks and there is an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants all within very easy access. The historic Palais Hotel is around the corner but best of all, Copenhagen Ice Creamery is located directly underneath the apartments - dessert is covered!

We stayed in Apartment 4 which has a loft bedroom with a king size bed. Downstairs is a smaller bedroom with queen bed, along with a large bathroom including laundry facilities, and open plan living area. There is a relatively new kitchenette which is very well appointed and has all the essentials to be able to prepare a meal for 4 people. The entire apartment was well decorated, modern and very clean and the free WiFi was fast.

The staff were just lovely and so very friendly. We received a text advising that our apartment was ready ahead of time, and we were greeted by Jim who kindly gave us tips of where to eat, etc. We were also given a late checkout which was so very appreciated as we were at an event at West Lakes followed by a late flight.

We were very pleased with our choice of accommodation and would definitely return if in the area again.

We were impressed by the great layout of this apartment and beautiful view. Apartment was extremely clean and well appointed. 
Was so close to everything, beach, cafes, shops. 
Keypad entry made access easy. 
Incredibly impressed with all communication with Peter. 

We were struggling to get accommodation in Adelaide and this was one of the last rooms left, so we snapped it up and we certainly weren't disappointed with a corner room over looking Semaphore foreshore with a loft bedroom. Free wifi sweetened the deal. Being above shops we were worried about the street noise, but there was none even on a busy Saturday night. The large shower was excellent. A small kitchen and living area allowed for some relaxing downtime before our appointment Sunday. We would definitely stay again.
