What a wonderful and relaxing experience. Just spent a week in the cottage which was absolutely delightful. Great location and close proximity to the beach and local attractions. Falie was the perfect host and so easy to communicate with and although the cottage is well provisioned anyway she met us with a "truckload" of goodies to help get us through the week. Completely unexpected and so thoughtful.

Lovely weekend away in Port Willy with everything we could want. Perfectly clean throughout, excellent breakfast provisions, large spa and a cosy fireplace. Will visit again. Booked directly with the company as I wanted to check accessibility issues, which was not a problem.

Just lovely.   A very peaceful location just minutes from the beach.   The cottage is very sweet and well decorated.  Both the bedroom and bathroom are huge.   The bed is very comfortable and there’s a nice view of the garden through the French doors.   It was a warm weekend and sitting in the garden was very relaxing.   Lots of birds around and the magpies are very friendly.   Ate at the Victory who provided a good meal with a lovely view.   I’d certainly recommend this cottage.   The owner was very communicative and easy to deal with.   Give this place a try if you’re looking for a relaxing few days.   

We've just returned from a delightful 2 night stay at Citrus Cottage and wanted to give our compliments to Falie and her beautiful accomodation.

The place was so quant and "homely" with all the things we needed to unwind and relax just waiting for us.  We loved the open fire!

Location was brilliant - so close to cafe's, pubs, farmers market and an awesome Pizza place (Russells).  

If you are unsure if this place is "worth it" ... well, it just is.  Ultimate stress-reliever!

Had a lovely winter weekend away in Willunga! Falie was so accommodating allowing us to bring our beloved pup with us, and was super helpful offering to book restaurants etc. Gorgeous cottage with original features, thoughtful touches and an open fireplace. We'll be back!

We stayed in Anchor Cottage and it was beautiful! The attention to detail, open fireplace and yummy condiments provided made the stay even more perfect. A home away from home! We were caught in some stormy weather, so we spent majority of our time in the cottage. The Willunga markets were amazing too, definitely recommend going to have a look if you are down on a Saturday.  Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful cosy getaway.

Our stay was fantastic, the wife and I enjoyed our anniversary. Loved it so much, we had to surprise the in-laws with a night away as well. They also loved it!

In the lead up to staying at Anchor Cottage I hadn't any idea of where to stay for a weekend getaway. There were a large number of BnB's coming up on Google/Booking.com searches across the Adelaide region. From the Barossa, the Adelaide Hills through to McLaren Vale. After a couple of days contemplating, I looked at these cottages and thought I'd call to enquire. Definitely the right decision. Falie made everything so easy. She was so friendly and helpful, and made my decision easy. I did book over the phone, though booking online would've been just as simple. 

The cottage is amazing. It's pretty to look at, with nice gardens, and nice country beachy feel. Inside is so comfortable, especially with the little wood fire. Kitchen has everything, bedroom and bed is very very nice. Bathroom is huge and has a great spa! Really, the place is great and perfect for a couple's getaway. 

Short walk to the beach and easy Uber ride to local bars and restaurants. Close to McLaren Vale wineries too. 

Arriving and leaving was easy. I have zero complaints and only a desire to get back there. Enjoy. 



Perfect location for a surprise birthday weekend. Really close to the beautiful Port Willunga beach, and very quiet and privately situated. Breakfast provisions were outstanding and Falie was really great to deal with. Highly recommended!!

Great stay for South Australian beach experience cottage comfortable and large in walking distance from the beach and a great seafood restaurant what more could you ask for.except good beach weather not that lucky be  happy spending time in the spa or by the fire enjoying the wine and chocolate of the region provided

Citrus Cottage: Just beautiful!

Fantastic accomodation

Best find ever

Beautiful relaxing overnight getaway, extremely accomodating as I managed to mess up the date but Falie came to the rescue. Beautiful quaint cottage, could not ask for anything more, generous provisions, definitely comfortable & cosy. I will be recommending to all my friends & family. Again I can’t thank you enough.

Stayed 2 nights at Citrus cottage located High street Willunga. Quaint cottage with provisions for breakfast which included eggs, bacon, bread, tomatoes, mushrooms, croissants.  Panty had a lot of provisions, oil, sauce, cereal, coffee and tea. Our host,very helpful and booked our dinner at Russel's Pizza which was just a short walk.  Falie left us a bottle of wine and also a lovely Tawny Port. Saturday morning was farmers market and used a provided discount card to buy cheeses, oil, pie, wine and coffee. Shiraz waking path near by which was an easy picturesque walk. Star of Greece was a 10 minute drive and food was excellent.  Gemtree winery tour was very interesting and a short drive from the cottage. Open fire place with wood provided. Had a little trouble getting fire to catch but sorted with extra paper and fire lighters from local store.  Port Willunga cottages has 3 cottages so when looking at photos online hard to see which is which. Thank you. We loved our 2 night stay.

Citrus Cottage Willunga

I travelled to Adelaide for work and wanted to visit friends in the Port Willunga area.  Anchor Cottage was the perfect location - a little cottage with a tranquil garden with all the comforts of home including a snuggle rug on the couch.  The Breakfast supplies with very generous and the unexpected bottle of wine, port and chocolates were all very will received & enjoyed with my friends.  I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.  Oh and very easy access to the McLaren Vale area too.  Perfect for a couple!!
