Rutena Suites

Our room was on the second floor with a nice patio overlooking a public square at the end of the free trolley line. It's an easy walk to at least 7 very good restaurants and coffee shops. The free trolley stops right across the street and runs 6 days per week. The trolley provides easy access to shopping and the cruise port. Buses and taxis are also available. Our room was large, cool and comfortable with a microwave, refrigerator and tv. There are several security features for the rooms but the area is safe and well traveled by locals. The patio is a wonderful place to sit in the evenings or mornings and sip a drink or coffee while watching trolleys and people walking by. The cool trade winds blow most of the time and make the patio very pleasant. There is a free concert every Friday night right across the street and all the locals attend. The manager of the unit, Jean was amazing. He was the friendliest most helpful I have ever experienced. When I experienced problems with a local scuba shop Jean contacted a relative who was able to provide 2 wonderful dives I never would have experienced any other way. We were also provided with a personal tour of the island that was wonderful.
