Cons:

The place was ok, but the room was the worst hotel room I've ever stayed at. It was so small, that I had to get up from the foot of the bed, since there was barely 10-15cm left on both sides of it. There was a wall between the bed and the windows so no light would enter the room during the day. The diameter of the shower head was 5cm, so small that I couldn't wash my hair with it and there were no shower curtains either, so the water went everywhere. The shower didn't even have air ventilation or windows, the water had no way to dry out. We ordered food at the place and the Armenian yogurt soup was the absolute worst (this is something I order everywhere and it's really not easy to get it THAT WRONG), it had a thick layer of oil on top, we didn't even touch it and the waiter didn't bother to ask what was wrong with it. Homemade lemonade is also not recommended. I wish I had taken some photos, because that room was in none of the pictures posted on their page, no wonder why. 

Pros:
The bed was comfy, the room was clean and the view from the balcony was nice. Although the staff was not so professional, but was very friendly and ready to assist.

Highly recommend

Popock Dilijan1 is a family guest house located in the center of Dilijan city with an incredible view to the mountains!! It has a very cosy atmoshpere and I liked it from the first sight!! It's even better than on beautiful photos. The room was very clean and had all the facilities that you'll need.. including electric kettle, sugar, coffee, slippers, bathing products, etc...The yard has several levels.There are many gazebos, a swing for adults and and swings for babies, a pool and a separate kitchen if you want to cook on your own. The restaurant is very atmoshperic and has a wonderful balcony with terrific view. You can eat outdoors, there is a table and also a sofa to sit and enjoy the view. The breakfast was tasty and with large variety of dishes. The staff was very friendly and ready to help in any question. Popock Dilijan is a wonderful guest house, it's highly recommended and I'll be back there for sure!!!

Our room larger than most we had experienced, was clean, tidy, had a bright decor, functional furniture and whilst it contained twin beds, they were comfortable.

There was a towel rack, hair dryer, tissues, complimentary water, tea and coffee, although no milk.

Free WiFi.

The wall heaters were not working, however, after speaking with reception, this was rectified within 5 minutes of the request being made.

The Guesthouse is renovating rooms, which is a positive sign for the future of the place.

This Guesthouse is not located to the main part of Dilijan, however there is a superb restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance, named Papanino (see separate review).

For breakfast, each table was set and there was no buffet, a pleasant change. Omelette orders taken, well-presented. Whilst there was not a large range of food on offer, it was adequate, with fruit, bread, cake being the best options, other than the omelette.

In summary, I can recommend Art Guesthouse as a place to stay in Dilijan, even though its location is not advantageous, if one is interested in going into the main part of the town.

Enjoyable Stay

Coziest place in dilijan right in the nature! Very hospitable and warm atmosphere.Rooms clean and tidy.  Definitely recommended for family and friends vacation. And all this very affordable. Thank you.

Loved it

Very low standard, so depends on what you look for. Our bathroom had spider nest in it. Rest of room was clean but very basic. Difficult to get to. We cancelled our booking and went another place. If you only look for a place to sleep its ok.

Stay at Art guest house was a highlight of our trip to Armenia. We had booked Tsaghkadzor Art Guest house but mistakenly drove to Dilijan Art Guest house. But luckily for us, they were accommodating & got us one of their best rooms. Adding to that, the same day it snowed heavily in Dilijan & not so much in Tsaghkadzor. I know that was just lucky, but it really was the highlight of our winter trip. 

Their rooms are super cozy, warm & small. I loved their earthy tones & simple furnishing. The place was super clean & spotless. I only wished if they could have kettle inside the room & not in a different kitchen. But that's really nothing to complain about. Their breakfast spread was great too. Mostly dishes on the sweet note, but yummy & authentic. 

The host & his wife were really very nice, kept checking on us if everything was fine. She made another discount at the time of check-out! 

The place overlooked snow-capped trees. It was serene, coming from a hot & humid Dubai. Loved everything about this place & highly recommend!

Excellent place & wonderful people

We enjoyed the scenice route coming here at Dilijan. The mountains are covered with lush trees and was captivated by the different colors since it’s autumn time.

We stayed here for a night and enjoyed the delicious grills served (vatiants of sausage, chicken, fish) with bread on the side.

It was cold at night so we capped it off with a warm taste of Armenian red wine.

Getaway at Dilijan

Travelled with friends and accidentally got a doscount coupon so decided to stay at Art Guest House. The room was cozy and big, one can be compared to a cheap hotel. 
the view is nice, Dilijan is perfect.
