50 reviewsWe came here for Oktoberfest (Fiesta Nacional de Cerveza) in 2010. Although the posada is a little bit of a hike (20 minute walk) to the downtown, it was no problem at all. In fact, we appreciated the quiet atmosphere from being a little bit away from the beer-intensive activities. We e-mailed first, then called to make the reservation (Spanish only). Although we were a little surprised that they took the reservation only under my husband's first name, it ended up not being a problem! This is a very homey place run by two incredibly friendly and helpful people. The decor feels like a very light and airy modern log home with a lot of artistic, funky touches (and family photos) throughout. Our bed, in a very quiet room, was extremely comfortable, with soft sheets and a down comforter. There was a TV with a DVD player and a cabinet full of movies to watch. Breakfast (included) was homemade and wonderful - museli, yogurt, home-baked bread and fresh orange juice. We felt absolutely at peace there. Highly recommended for any visit to Villa General Belgrano - for Oktoberfest or otherwise. We absolutely loved it.
