The living room mattresses are for sitting or supporting things, not for sleeping an adult or a child. The television is very old, and there was no promised wifi service and there was no advertising in three days. The kitchen and the elements for cooking greasy. We had to demand electric heating that they didn't want to take for a low season while they were staying on the nearby road. The only good thing about the place is that Sergio, the person in charge, tried to fix things. We were trying to provide an informal communication with the owners of the road. We were not able to use the phone: We had a high-speed wifi service, but we were not able to use it.

For the forgotten.

No, it takes a lot of effort to stay in a more pleasant place. I highlight the attention of Sergio el casero who was always at our disposal.No I recommend this place!!!! No changing towels for 5 days!!

With very little, we can achieve something better.

The cabins are prolific, fair, but the heating system is poor, they have ceramic greenhouses that can't heat the cabin, they also have salamander but until it reaches a temperature it takes several hours, the wood of the sale is charming and it is not recommended to sleep with taken salamander!!!

Cabañas prolijas, very expensive and impossible in winter, HELADAS.

First of all, it is necessary to say that these are cabins and not a hotel in a beautiful but small town like Uspallata where there is still no infrastructure in some respects. But despite this, the location is not what the photos reveal, plus the payment is upfront. The cabins are comfortable but they have a single room with a double bed and the rest of the passengers sleep in the dining room. The park in winter, at least in our case, was not profitable. The signal and speed of Wi-Fi is practically nonexistent. The oven is very weak, which makes it difficult to cook in itself. Some of our travel companions had problems with the cleaning of the bed. But all this would not be so bad if you did not pay for the permanent uncomfortable situation that the two travellers are in?

No, it wasn't what I expected.

We went to Uspallata around 10pm without any reservations, and so we saw a couple on the side of the road and the truth that none of them were worth it until we met La Cabañas del Pastizal, which we saw were structurally beautiful and decided to stay and leave things and go to dinner while the cabins were acclimated because that day was 7°.

Treated badly by their owners, they seem sympathetic but constantly watch over you, they are not servile, they don't know how to treat the tourist, to give an example: my son gathered a few branches of the backyard and retrieved it, and while he was preparing the fire he was asked to clean the grill floor and leave it as it was...unusual, no? Inside the cabin is a list with the inventory of each element and the price of each of them for breaking it and warn you that they have to pay for it, little equipment, the cabin 6 has an IMPROPIA gas installation, the mattress of the mattress is old and worn, the used pillows, the girls' sheets. The cabin is broken and has a cabin resting place.

It's a terrible experience, we won't be returning again.

The only thing they care about is billing. The cabin had drawers in the bedroom and bathroom. Around the cabin was a barrier, Wi-Fi never worked, even the TV signal (both promoted as services). The worst thing is that they wanted to charge us for missing things that never existed in the cabin, and they demanded to charge us extra.

It's too late, we're not back.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Uspallata, near Mendoza, Argentina, and on the main route to the Aconcagua area.  We chose it for its convenient location for our Aconcagua road trip and because the relatively few accommodations in downtown Uspallata got mixed if not bad reviews on line.  However, this was probably the worst accommodation we encountered in our entire 3 months in Argentina.  First, we found the cabin spacious but dirty.  There were bugs, both dead and living, everywhere, on the floor, the sofas, in the sink, etc.  Second, while the bed mattress itself was comfortable, the bed linens were far too small for it and the fitted sheet continually came undone during the night as one turned over and you ended up completely tangled up in the sheets.  Also, the comforter was very heavy and kept sliding off.

Second, the hotel's website indicates that there is WiFi available on the property.  There are two problems that we encountered.  First the WiFi signal was inadequate inside the cabin.  More importantly, there was no internet connection even when you had an adequate WiFi signal outdoors. Often this problem is a failure of the provider, but when we ate that evening in town we had no problem connecting to the internet through WiFi at the restaurant.

Lastly, we felt cheated on the room rate by the hotel.  The hotel applied an inflated exchange rate to the rate we were guaranteed in US dollars on Booking.com and thereby charged more for the room than we should have been required to pay. (It was not only in excess of the official rate for that day, but also well in excess of either the buy or sell rate. In other words they appear to simply create their own exchange rate which makes any "price quote" illusory.)  We were prepared to pay in cash, either pesos or dollars, but the "front desk" had already charged our charge card when we went to check out early the next morning.  The last straw was that Booking.com failed to take our complaint seriously, simply taking the hotel's word for it that the exchange rate was correctly applied when it was not.

On the positive side, the grounds were large and park-like, very green and spacious and with much children's playground equipment.  Also, the cabins are set back from the road and therefore are quiet (important because the adjacent roadway is the main route for truckers heading from Mendoza to Chile, and busy all the time).
