We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a trip to NW Argentina and loved the old world charm of the place. The hotel is a beautiful building full of history, decorated with antiques but updated enough with modern amenities to make our stay comfortable. The building is within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Tafí but set back enough in its own grounds to be quiet and restful. Our room was cosy and warm in the chilly Tafí evening, with comfy bed and good shower.. Breakfast was the usual modest Argentinian affairof pastries, toast and coffee and served in the lovely old dining room. If you come expecting the glitz and glamour of a 5 star hotel you will be disappointed, but if you want to experience a beautiful and unique historic building then I can thoroughly recommend Las Tacanas.
