They advertise it as a hotel but it's a hostel without towels, although that doesn't bother me so much, the worst part is the bathroom all inside, lack of floor mosaics in the shower and miniature, everything very abandoned. We didn't even get to breakfast because it was in the afternoon and we said that we left early like 6:30 and didn't say anything except that breakfast was served like 7:30, the morning had more honda and when we got up to start making coffee but didn't get to our said if they had told me to prepare them earlier, so we said we would lease them in the evening and didn't give us the option to make breakfast earlier.

To sleep and run, cheap.

Of course, you'd expect the suites to be called guembe suites, they should probably change the name, but if you see it as a hostel, it's not bad at all, breakfast is not bad, the pool and cabins are very nice, and the air conditioning works well, the only problem is the bathroom, I had two good days.

Bad experience at the guembe. Smelly rooms, used sheets, dust mat in the room. Dirty bathrooms. Disgusting kitchen. Breakfast with pane and marmellata tasteless. Other guests in the room with us: cockroaches, huge. Incapacitated, unavailable, uncompliant, rude person. It's a hostel and cheap but other friends at the same price have found better.

Stay out of it.

The room we booked at booking.com is big and clean and has a huge window. And that’s the end of pluses. The hostal is old and run-down, the linen so washed-out that they are grey and the shared bathroom needs urgent renovation. It is very, very dirty as if there is no cleaning service.
The kitchen is dirty and untidy. There is warm water and poor Internet. Towels are provided. And they serve sweet breakfast. The receptionist quibbles about the price of the room; the next day they cheat us and we pay 25$/night despite the fact the price on booking.com is 20$. What’s more, you can’t pay with a credit card and that possibility will give you 20% discount for tourists with a foreign passport.

If you need something just ask for it and you will receive a smile and all the information you need. You will not regret staying here!

You can enjoy an evening at the pool in one of the hammocks and socialize with the other guests.

Nice place to stay

We had booked at the El Gembe hostel, but due to a lack of space despite a reservation we were placed in this hostel without asking our opinion....despite a friendly welcome, it was not our will to be here: 1 single room (for TV), air conditioner on the outside but causing a horrible noise every 5 minutes (it stopped during the night, thankfully), a hole in the shower....minimum breakfast: grilled stick and jam... luckily it was only a night of passage...

not our initial choice

The location is good, six blocks is downtown. There's a super one and a bakery across the street, we were in a shared room, the breakfast was very good and the reception people were very nice.The only criticism is the bathrooms, lots of people for so few and the outside not taking a shower.

Good price  Good price

We stayed here for a few days. The price-quality ratio is very good. Excellent service. Normal breakfast. Good location. Very quiet place. For when we went out into the cold, but it has a swimming pool and a quintessential area and that area looks very nice! We had a great time.

What a lovely stadium.

The hostel was priced accordingly. The pool was not in a safe condition to use it. The beds in the shared rooms were not the big deal but they were comfortable. The breakfast included in the price was good. What I didn't like were the very small lockers to store the belongings at the entrance to the hostel.

Decent, including a rich breakfast.

It's a hostel not a hotel so maybe the negative reviews we'll see of the place are due to the comparison that's made. in my opinion it's a nice place to spend a few days in port iguazú while visiting the cataratas. 1. the breakfast is punctual and you can have a variety of things to drink (coffee, milk, tea or juice) and eat 2. the girls' disposition is excellent, since it was our host who was very attentive, the others were also cordial. 3. the place is close to the omnibus terminal which is close to the area where you can go to eat at night or have a drink at some bar. 4. next to it is an agency so that you can make a great deal of the tours you want. 5. all the buses (used) pass through the avenue of victory to a hostel that is located just a few days away from the port of iguazú.
