Kiritina's House

This is home. A true home that you can't pass up. We parked our vehicle and opened the gate to be welcomed by the owners dog (I'm an animal lover) and the owner herself. She walked us in and showed us around, how to work the heat and did what she could do to make us feel at home. The house was just amazing! The bedroom had 2 twin beds, TV and heater. The living area had a full futon couch/bed, nice dining room table, heater and awesome entry way complete with the coolest antique furniture. The full kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need. Plenty of tea, coffee and other cooking essentials like spices and oils. The bathroom was equipped with great water pressure, hot water and a nice variety of soap, shampoo and conditioner. I liked the sink being in the little alcove outside of the bathroom itself so you didn't have to worry about a foggy mirror after a wicked hot shower. We were provided breakfast: loaf of bread, fresh banana bread, jams, jellies and butters. Fruits, cookies and raw eggs. Every day when we could come home from a long day of sightseeing the eggs were replenished (even got a chance to try some quail eggs...yum) One morning we woke up to rain and winds and one of the cats sitting in front of the door. I allowed her to come in and she curled up in bed with me to wait out the rain (again, I'm an animal lover). This was my idea of home. This was one place I was sad to leave. It was comfortable, very clean and the hosts were so super friendly and helpful it was like leaving a friend. Our host was even gracious to give us a lift to the bus station after we returned our rental car the night before. We definitely appreciated the above and beyond. If you want the experience of living like a local, getting a good value for your money and make some good friends (human and of the 4 legged variety) this is the place for you.
