74 reviewsThe place is excellently positioned to the city. Ran by friendly people, especially a very helpful manager call Fernando. The cleanliness is adequate for a backpacker. Breakfast is basic (and reasonable) but for the price you shouldn't expect much. I would say in terms of noise it's energetic rather than out right noisy, Latin America has a culture of waking late and staying out late so you will get noise late at night, but nothing to unreasonable and it is a way of life down here. The bit that no one has mentioned on these reviews yet though is that there is a night club in the basement of the building. 'Sick club'. Separately ran from the hostel but obviously due to its proximity at the weekends the noise comes up through the floor quite easily and shakes the ground floor rooms of the hostel. We started out on the first floor in a 4 bed mix dorm shared bathroom which was fine. We were then moved to the ground floor which was the same but with a ensuite. This again was fine, a better room in fact but when Friday and Saturday night came around the noise and the vibrations kept us up from 1am-6am. We didn't mind so much as we were going to bed early enough for it not to effect us. I would recommend this place, but if you can, stay away from the ground floor rooms 5- 8.
