Studio Pueyrredon by Temporary Apartments

First of all, the name of this apartment is misspelled in the listing. I've requested a correction from TripAdvisor and hopefully that will happen. It is Studio Pueyrredon at 1770 Av. Pueyrredon in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires. We spend 35 nights (in May and June) at Studio Pueyrredon and I cannot imagine a better place to stay (especially for the price) and a better location. The staff were excellent and responsive to any issues that came up during our time there. For one, we were not happy with our first apartment -- it was small and not at all well equipped. At least not as well equipped as we had expected. One email to management (Florencia, whom we never actually met, and Daiana, who worked in the building) and we were moved one day later into a very nice apartment on the 15th floor with two balconies looking out over the city. (The original apartment actually also had a nice balcony overlooking Av. Pueyrredon and the Starbucks across the street.) It's not that the apartments are particularly ritzy. They are clean and nicely, but not lavishly, decorated. Our kitchen was complete (large fridge, stove, oven, microwave) but the dishes, pots and pans were sort of a mix of what had been there over time. Perfectly fine for our purposes. Two particular strong points to mention: One - location...none better (very nearby grocery, restaurants, coffee houses, bakeries, you name it...and easy walking to the tourist attractions of Recoleta); Two - the apartment staff. (the housekeeping staff was excellent. They cleaned every few days and replaced linens, towels, etc. They were simply great. Also, the guys at the front door were always friendly, despite our very weak Spanish skills. It was nice to see them in the morning as we'd leave or in the evening (anytime) when we'd return. I would stay at Studio Pueyrredon again anytime and recommend anyone who wants something other than a typical "hotel" experience to stay there. Very highly recommended.
