This hostel was suffice in terms of facilities and basic amenities. The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to make people feel comfortable and were very helpful! Breakfast was enough, butter would be nice.

I just have one suggestion, giving people a piece of paper with hostel rules or putting a sign up somewhere in the room, regarding things that should be common courtesy. 
Because although I read in other reviews that it can be noisy at night I wasn't prepared for this experience....
The hostel party group came back several times and were quite noisy outside, so I expected that, but not this...
At 11:50 a big group of girls came into the hostel dorm room, switched on the light and yelled while they were having fun getting ready for about 10-20 minutes, while there was 2 people sleeping. 
Then again at around 2am they did the same thing, literally yelling, once they left the room one of the girls that was staying in the room continued to scream just outside the bedroom door. 
Then at 4am, the girls came back and watched something and chatted to it for at least an hour, with 0 inside voice, it honestly sounded like they were still yelling.
Not once did it seem like anyone did anything to keep anyone a little more quiet.
In all my experience staying in hostels, which has been a lot, I have never experienced anything SO RUDE! So, although these things should be common courtesy, clearly there is a culture in this hostel which goes against international norms, and something to tell people who seem like they have never stayed in a hostel before about how to act in a shared room would be really helpful!

Staff good but one thing that seems little changes the entire experience

The social atmosphere at this place is awesome! Great staff and this place seems to attract cool guests as well. It was clean, had a good breakfast and a great bar and patio area for hanging out and making friends. In walking distance from many bars and places to eat. Big thanks to the staff for being so fun and having great recommendations on what to do 

Awesome time! 

Pros: excellent location, good kitchen, friendly staff, cheap price (you get what you pay for)

Cons: the open air centre allows smoking which reaches into rooms and makes it extremely noisy, not very clean, not enough plugs, fans in room I was in don’t work so very hot

Would not stay again and do not recommend.

So glad I only booked one night

This hostel was very dirty. They probably have not cleaned for years the rooms and the smell inside was disgusting. It was a very bad experience. If you want to stay in Palermo. Don't stay there. Go and find another better place!
