Chik-Chik Namibe

It's a nice hotel situated in the centre of Namibe from where it's an easy walk around the town. Nice bedroom, large bed, well appointed bathroom and quiet overnight. Nice restaurant with good offerings for both breakfast and dinner. Staff very helpful.

Nice location, staff pretty helpful, but actually no one speaks English. Rooms are small but still OK for cleanliness and comfort. WiFi though was painfully slow. 15 Minutes to the airport by taxi, the beach is within walking distance. OK for the price.

The town centre hotel is clean, well run and has friendly helpful staff - good place to use as a base for travel in the region. The normal bathroom amenities are present and the air conditioning works even when not in the room - a great blessing. A typical continental breakfast with many pastries is supplemented with eggs, omelet and a local vegetable mixture so one need never go hungry! Prices for single rooms are VERY reasonable 

We stayed for a couple of nights. Clean and reasonable rooms, although bathroom a bit grubby. Breakfast ok, nothing to write home about!  Bread was a little bit stale, coffee stewed in a pot. Staff not very friendly but maybe because I don't speak their lingo! Only a five minute walk to restaurants and beach.

Hotel Chik Chik IS well located. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was nice but they had problem with flushing the water. Hotel has great restaurant and pool. It Is expensive, but I dont Think you will find anything better and at the same time cheaper in Namibe.

This well established hotel has an excellent location in the middle of this beautiful colonial city. The rooms are small and bit run down but decorated in a classic, colonial style. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The personnel is a bit unhelpful but some of them speak English. Breakfast was average but fruit was fresh.

Relatively good hotel with blasé personnel

this was my 1st trip to Angola and specifically to Namibe province. Chik Chik hotel for the local town is classified as a decent hotel. sleep quality was fine and the basic amenities that go with simple business trips. the only let down was the bathroom which had a broken down drainage system, cold water and an internet connectivity that was non-existent. i will classify this hotel as average . Beware the only cards that work at the hotel are VISA DEBT Cards. Any other cards DONT WORK. Carry Kwanzas ( local currency ) to avoid disappointments when checking in .

This hotel has a good restaurant to have lunch and dinner. The rooms should be changed but you can have a quite sleep but the furniture inside should be better. They have swimming pool. The workers are friendly and helpful.
