This was my first visit to Luanda, and since the very beginning i felt at home. I am travelling every month to Africa and this Hotel is really amazing, even though it is very crowded outside with many people getting minibuses at the gate, but inside it is very modern, peaceful and the stuff are very friendly. Last day i did late check out and they was very kind to let me stay till late without extra charge. Super experience and 100 % recommended.

FANTASTIC experience!

Small hotel on second floor of renovated building on a busy street near to government ministries and the bay. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet for good sleeping conditions. Absence of windows probably an asset and there’s an air filtering machine (plus the A.C.) so it’s sufficiently ventilated. Note that hotels.com stated the rooms were 35 sq.meters when they’re actually about half that size. Breakfast was adequate and all the good coffee you want. Restaurant as noted by others is for dinner pre-order only. There are two viable restaurants within a block walk of hotel open at night. Impression of the immediate environs might be skewed on account of next door bar and bus stop on the corner which makes it appear people are loitering or aimless when they’re not actually. Staff here is helpful, multi-lingual, and conscientious.

Good choice

The Residence is well located there are restaurants and cash machines around.  The property is clean, comfortable bed and good WiFi.  The service is fantastic, all hotel staff are friendly and helpful.  Probably is the nicest and best service I ever had in a hotel.  Definitively to come back and to recommend.  Great stay!

Hotel in the city center, Mutamba, with few rooms. Rooms with essential, good mattress, with wi-fi, serve breakfast a la carte and lunch and dinner. Air conditioning works well and at night you will not feel uncomfortable noises. The hotel is located very busy area of the capital. Close to the marginal and services

Central Hotel

The location of the hotel is on walking distance from Marginal and the fort. However, the area is a bit shady - be careful in the evenings when walking around here. The hotel has nice clean rooms, but no windows. A bit claustrophobic. The staff does not speak much english, which should be a requirement for this level of hotel. Evening restaurant only if you book ahead

OK - but not more

This is a small hotel in Luanda downtown. Has just some 8 rooms and a restaurant. The rooms are spacious, clean, beds comfortable. Personnel does not speak English if not the essentials, but are kind and helpful. Food is not superlative but OK. Wi fi works well just at night, early in the morning and in the evenings, but this is non due to hotel. 
Guests are from Portuguese speaking countries.
Taking into account the crasy prices of Luanda hotels, this results acceptable.
They accept only Visa credit cards or cash.

Essential

This is a great choice in Luanda. The hotel is located in the hear of Luanda within walking distance of the Marginal, the fort, national bank building, the museum of money, and other tourist attractions. The breakfast and airport pickup service are excellent. Wifi works well. The rooms are very modern, comfortable beds, very clean.  I highly recommend this hotel.
