Great hotel, clean ,new ,with a good view. Ease of access to Convention center CIC sport complex, beaches . Downtown Algiers straight road via a car, taxi or bus. nice restaurant nearby . Great food as well. . Nice pool clean and Very pleasant

Comfortable and clean

The hotel is located on the far side of the road from the coast with traffic surging on the main road into Algiers almost without cease. This is a real pity if you aren't used to using earplugs.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the restaurant offered fresh cooked fare in the evenings. Breakfast lacked variety and imagination.

It is good to get out of Algiers itself with its traffic jams and trash piling up but making the journey back and forth from Ein Benian and Hammamet where the hotel is located is to suffer in traffic and pollution. No solution really.

Moreover, it is a Muslim hotel and no wine or alcohol is offered - it is very difficult to find anywhere to buy and bring in - and any consumption must not be in public.

I preferred Oran to Algiers for cultural interest, history and dining.

SEA VIEWS, NICE STAFF, BUT TRAFFIC THUNDERS BELOW

If you are someone like me that can't abide ear plugs you won't enjoy much rest. The surroundings aren't very pleasant despite the efforts of the hotel proprietor. Algiers is an hour away only because the traffic makes it difficult to access. If your business or pleasure is in centre of Algiers it is too far out with the heavy traffic to be practical and you will spend far too much time choking on fumes in traffic.DRY - no wine - this is a Muslim hotel. Breakfast lacks imagination and variety but evening meals were nice.

SEA VIEWS BUT TRAFFIC SURGE CONSTANT

The hotel is good as compared to other budget hotels in Algiers. The location is just facing the sea. The rooms are large and with basic facilities. The wifi is free but very slow and everyday I had to request them for reset, as there was difficulty in connection. 
The only negative is the breakfast, which is exactly the same everyday. Even the juices remain the same and everything is cold; no hot items (not even toaster for fresh bread).

Good hotel for business travelers.

The hotel is away from the center of town which makes having a car or money to spend on taxi fare important if you want to see the historic parts of Algiers. For the price I got a big clean room with a balcony with an amazing view of the Mediterranean. There was a beach near by and small grocery stores.

Safe hotel with great view

good value for money, limited facilities but very helpful staff

Great hotel, has character within. Looks a bit bland from outside. Rooms are spacious, including a spacious bathroom with a bidet. Quite classy French colonial style. With that said it is quite dated, requires some modernisation, at least for today's gadgets - there were no spare sockets to charge, mobile, laptop or iPad. Great wifi signal available. 

Hotel is good for those with their own cars that are coming in from the west of the country, or intend to travel west. Otherwise for an average sole traveller, it is way out of the city, nothing much to do nearby, with shops closing as early as 7.30pm. 

I ended up in this hotel by mistake. The website I used, Expedia.co.uk (and it is also wrong on this website too!), is showing this hotel at about 6 KM from the airport. It is in fact 33 KM from the airport and a long drive it is till there due to the traffic.

Decent hotel, but way out of Algiers city - Be warned, Location given on Map wrong!

Algiers is a city where is difficult to find good hotels at affordable prices. For west Algiers, the Hammamet is my hotel of choice. Big, clean, well maintained rooms, wifi that is usually reliable, possibility to book online and credit card accepted puts it above the average. My only complaint is the restaurant, whose choice has been greatly reduced in the last years.
