I don’t understand some of the negative reviews unless there have been changes in the interim. My room overlooking the small port was lovely and blissfully quiet during the day as the road is closed to general traffic and it was pleasant to sit on the balcony (you may have to request as I’m not sure that all rooms have one). There is more noise at night because of the bars and restaurants but the windows are soundproofed and there is air conditioning. Safes were being installed during my stay. There was always someone at reception or within earshot of the bell. I enjoyed breakfast which had a reasonable selection of hot and cold items. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the various bus stops. I booked early and paid just 60 euros per night including breakfast which is good value for being in the prime position.
