The hotel is well located in an area with shops, pharmacy, hospital around (you can literally walk around, just not in the daytime in August because of the heat) and not far from shopping areas like Deira or Burjman mall. Check-in was quick and team accommodated our request to have a 2-bed room instead of a single bed. The room itself was large enough for 2, pleasant to stay in, well lit and sunlight comes in without blinding. Bathroom area was great but please review water temperature. It doesn’t get really hot. Housekeeping by Sirjana: she was the sweetest & cutest 🥰 always available, always prompt to respond to enquiries! She left us a towel swan 🦢 The restaurant for breakfast and buffet is good. Good food, with mostly Indian influence and European pastries. Well stocked up, super fresh vegetables. Nice staff ready to help with special requests. Price of buffet in the evening is very reasonable too if you don’t feel like ordering in or dining out. Overall, a very good first experience at Aloft Al Mina!
