COCO-MAT Athens BC

Location: This is a fantastic central hotel in Athens a couple of minutes walk away from Plaka and has plenty of good restaurants and bars around. (Tiki bar to the left has a great atmosphere and drinks) Staff: I have never come across such helpful & friendly staff in a hotel. A special thanks to Kristina at reception who helped me with making appointments as we were there for our son’s wedding. You are welcomed with the door being opened l, a goodie bag and your luggage taken up. Hotel: The breakfast buffet was both fresh, well stocked, tasty and an incredible variety with the nicest fresh orange juice I have ever had! We stayed in room 404 and had a view of the museum and you get the afternoon sun on this side of the hotel. The room had everything we needed and the air on was great. When the patio is shut you can’t hear any of the city noise nor from neighbouring rooms. The bed gave us the most comfortable sleep. There is a gym and spa which we didn’t use but the area is so tranquil having a lovely area with fish and terrapins swimming around. The pool and rooftop bar are closed which is a shame as the view is incredible. Thank you Coco-Mat for making our trip to Athens perfect! We hope to see you again 😊
