Mak Albania Hotel

Large spacious rooms. I would stay here again

Rooms are extremely big and comfortable.  Internet connection needs improvement as well as the TV cable/satelite provider.  No TV service was ever available.  Nevertheless, the hospitality of the staff at the reception and restaurant was impeccable.

In spite the fact that the Man Albania Hotel is going under a mayor renovation; excellence in service remains unaffected.  All the staff is compromised to make this hotel remain a hospitality land mark and reference in Tirana.  Thanks and keep the excellent work.

AmazIing stay , place in very good area. The hotel has everything. Pool outsise , inside,  sauna, spa. Etc perfect

I like everything in this hotel. It was a really nice experience from A to Z. I arrived to hotel 2 hours before starting check in time, the receptionist was so helpful and as there was room ready she let me check in early. Lobby was decent. The room was specious and generally nice with a park view. Staff were so helpful. Breakfast was good. 
I will definitely be back to this hotel wherever I travel to Tirana.

Nice hotel just few minutes walking away from lake

Hotel in a great location by the park and nice restaurants, however it’s a building site as it’s undergoing a huge renovation. Fortunately at the weekend, there was not a great deal of noise. It is a grand hotel, but dated. Lovely outdoor pool but from sun Ed you see scaffolding. Bathroom was tiny and 2* toiletries and towels. Breakfast was very good.

Perfect location. Close to city center, near nice park. Nice quiet swimming pool area. Lots of building going on in the hotel and area around makes some noise. We booked Tower room with lounge access. Looks to me that tower is under construction so I don’t think we got the room we paid for. Tried to access lounge, but was told we didn’t have that in our reservation even if it said so on the confirmed reservation. The room we got was nice with very good bed. Recomend Lyft roof terrace restaurant 300 mts from the hotel. Best food we have had in a restaurant for a very long time.

The staff were fantastic and friendly. They accommodated us and our two dogs though the premium was a little steep at €50/night. Sadly the hotel was a building site, the indoor pool was closed which is one of the reasons we booked there. The shower had seen better days and the TV did not work well, no access to online stations. Most tv was Albanian which is fine but obviously couldn’t understand! Location  was ideal for the dogs adjoining the park with lovely walks.

Lovely hotel but…..

Easy pleasant check-in, very good room, quiet and comfortable. I didn't specify breakfast when I made the reservation (wasn't sure about the COVID restrictions), but at check-in was told it will be complementary. Great breakfast. I have used this hotel a lot before, when it was Sheraton, and the first time after it changed ownership. I will definitely aim to use it again on my travels to Tirana.

Short stay

I stayed there for two weeks July/August 2019, the property was very nice and the standard has not changed from when it was a Sheraton property, location is ideal and close to anything you want to do in Tirana.  Staff is awesome and courteous, so please tip them generously as they deserve it, the Thai massage and the pool/gym equipment up to date and very affordable.  Loved it and hopefully it will stay this way.....

family stay in Tirana

Have been staying in Mak Albania multiple times for business. Since it has changed from Sheraton to Mak Albania, actually very little change can be seen in the hotel in practise. Rooms have wooden floor which I usually prefer in hotels, beds are stiff enough and multiple pillows to choose from. Overall tidy and nice hotel with nice staff. Breakfast is also good and offers decent variety. Gym has basic equipment, enough for proper training. Pools are clean and usually empty. Location is a bit off center but in Tirana everything is within walking distance.

Overall good hotel

This hotel used to be a Sheraton until the beginning of 2018. The facility is very nice and clean and the service still has that Sheraton hospitality. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were very helpful in organizing or suggesting activities. The location is very close to Blloku and the Grand Park of Tirana. The gym and pool are exceptionally high quality. I will definitely stay here again.

High quality hotel!

God hotel .  but around the bathtub they need to clean better. They building a lot on the hotel and going to get it better i hope .

Great location and good facilities.  Shame the hotel is a construction site around with the hotel being extended.
