Had a great welcome at this Vida location. Loved the branded scent in the spacious lobby. The lobby cafe has amazing coffee and croissant, made extra amazing with service from Jenica and her colleagues. The management should promote its gym more! It has more equipment than most hotels of this class. Wish it had more weights and had leg straps for its cable machine. Despite this, I had a full leg day workout. And Meera was a nice, friendly face who diligently cleaned the equipment. The room? Our third floor room (341) had actually a better view than I expected. Decent size. Very quiet. Sadly, sleep quality was not the best. The pillows were too hard for my preference (my fault probably because I forgot to ask for a pillow menu). Bed was on the firm side. Room temperature stayed at “22C” but it felt like 24C. Breakfast was decent. I liked that it had a few select items rather than a smorgasbord. Salads were mostly lacking in salt but it’s an easy fix. Sarah was a ray of sunshine. She stood out because the other men behind the counter were not as sunny. Checkout was a breeze. We were sent off with a smile from Mohammed of housekeeping and the enthusiastic valet guys. A great relaxing stay altogether.
