What an experience. We stayed in a beachfront villa with pool and it was stunning. We had so much space inside and outside the villa. We did not book in advance but had to move due to an issue with our previous accommodation. The staff showed him around the hotel and the room before we booked and matched the price we found online which due to short notice was very reasonable. We did not use the main pools or any of the facilities others than the restaurant for breakfast and one lunch. Breakfast was really varied snd changed each day. The drinks in the hotel and the food in the restaurant is experience but I think it is the location. All staff were very friendly and helpful and the golf carts make getting around in the heat much easier It is a 4 star hotel and compared to others in Koh Samui it is definitely at the higher end. Fisherman’s village is around a 15 mins walk via the road (and possibly the beach) . There are a number of restaurants within a 2-4 minute walk which are fine for lunch and possible dinner too. There is a fully stocked minibar with drinks that is restocked daily which is unusual for a lot of places in Thailand. Yes there are cats and dogs on the beach but they don’t bother you unless you want them too. We would definitely return again
