We have stayed here many times and are always sure of a warm welcome.

The hotel is very convenient for travel to and from places on each side of the Severn River and is situated in a very quiet, yet easily accessible, spot. 

We were unable due to phone signal book a room for the night.  We went direct to the hotel but were advised a booking has to be raised on line.  The receptionist raised a booking for us after several attempts, Chel-C also had network issues.  The booking was finally raised including confirmation of debit card.

We cannot thank Chel-C enough for her efforts.  Thanks for a lovely stay.

I came to check into this Travelodge and there had been an issue on my end with the booking name.
The lady at the reception Judi couldn't be anymore helpful and even switched us to a family room so that I could have a bed at least as they were fully booked.
My end sorted it so I had my room, but Judi was outstanding with her customer service, so thankyou. She is a credit to your workforce.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were obviously busy but nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable warm and tidy.  The location is great, ideal for exploring the bridge and estuary.  Good value as always 

The lady at the reception at night was superb friendly and helpful and made me feel like at home away from home

Really lovely and clean … Nice and Quiet… Staff were very lovely.

Quiet, clean, comfortable and excellent value for money, good access to food and supplies and a 2 min walk from multiple ultra rapid EV charge points, would definitely use again and would recommend to anybody

I stayed here a couple of years ago when i was doing an assessment at the RPS  and I needed to go down again to do the next stage. The hotel, though next to the motorway is really quiet. Its an excellent spot to go to Wales and enjoy quiet walks while being 30mins from the heart of Bristol. I will definitely be staying here again when I need to go down again. The staff were brilliant esp Judi who was brilliant,  you won't go wrong if she is on the reception. overall, very happy, good value, good location (15min walk to Aust and the lovely Boars Head Pub)

The hotel is in the perfect place to get into bristol or cardif like we did and suited us for what we needed. The lady on recption was very helpful and polite and eould have done anything she could for us and made us fell welcome, its a shame i can't remeber her name. All in all it was a good 2 nights

I've stayed in a few hotels in the Avonmouth/Aust area recently for work, this Travelodge is one of the better ones for sure. Clean, comfortable and very quiet - perfect when crashing out after work. Take a walk up the path to the end of the hill for a brilliant view over the Severn. No restaurant or bar here, which I knew in advance, but there's services nearby so food is close. Friendly greeting at reception too. Overall a nice little stop off and would stay again for sure.

The staff where very friendly and accommodating.  They provided us with plates cutlery and even to our surprise wine glasses.  The hotel itself is at a service station but don’t let it put you off.  It’s up on the hill and is extremely quiet.  On a nice day you can go for a short walk and look over the river and the Severn Bridge.  The hotel itself is what you expect from a Travelodge.  The carpets in the room couple do with replacing but the whole room would benefit from a spruce up.

Upon arrival it turned out I had booked a room with a double bed for myself and my grown up son. Despite it being late at night, Judi on reception was brilliant and sorted us another room so we didn’t have to share a bed. As some  reviews have pointed out the hotel is a little tired but not excessively so by any means. To be fair the room rate was excellent and it always makes me wonder how people expect a five star hotel for peanuts. Hotel was very quiet, very clean, comfy bed and great staff. I’d stay again without hesitation.

Comfortable and quiet room

 Cheap clean and good price, it’s a Travelodge not a boutique stay so boring box. 
Signs to enter are good given the mini maze involved from motorway. 
Otherwise easy access to Wales/ Forest of Dean and Bristol/Bath M4/5 etc.

I had a lovely stay thanks to Tyler and Jacob they made me feel very welcome and when I needed a top up they were very nice about helping me they made a quick fix of my sheets and replaced my tea and coffee 

Lovely service

Ideal, staff great thanks 

Needed a hotel to give us a late’ish check in at a reasonable cost.  Didn’t need a bar or restaurant and looking at the geography,  this was a perfect location.  It ticked all the relevant boxes and absolutely did what ‘it said on the tin’ !
