We had a lovely three night stay at Beach House Hotel.  There was some refurbishment going on in the reception area at the time of our visit, these were undertaken during daytime hours when guests were out and so not a real inconvenience.  The staff were friendly and approachable.  Room was very comfortable with luxury toiletries provided in the bathroom.  Perfect location in SeaHouses.  Food was excellent.

On arrival at Beach House hotel we were welcomed at Reception by Dave who was friendly and professional. The check in was easy and we were soon directed to our room. We were asked if we needed help with our bags but said we would be fine. Our room, on the first floor, was large, bright and spacious. I was not very pleased that there was no window only a skylight but in the end this wasn't a problem as the velux window opened and had a blind. The en-suite was large and had everything needed plus lovely white towels! Breakfast was self service for cereal/fruit/toast etc. with staff who were friendly and attentive. You could also order cooked items. The full Northumberland breakfast set us up for the day and was well cooked and presented. The scrambled egg on sourdough toast was good but the toast wasn't really toasted enough! I think the only thing that we were not happy about was the water pressure in the shower which was very low but we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The view was amazing and the staff was so incredibly nice. Breakfast was also good. We loved our stay!

Fabulous hotel- what made it was the staff.They couldn’t have been more friendly. It is tired looking on the outside but don’t be put off- lovely big roomsLovely breakfast, wide choice.We will definitely book again My only tiny, tiny quibble is- no soap was given for the sink and I had to keep leaning across into the shower ( all lovely products) to get shower gel and did slip once .

Hotel is very neat & clean.  Our room was a little warm during the night, but overall it was an awesome place to stay!

Lovely hotel right on the sea front. Very clean & the hotel staff were all great to get on with. They went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Great breakfast & evening meal.

Fabulous hotel with the friendliness of staff

The hotel location is excellent, great view of the adjacent beach and 3 miles from Bamburgh castle, with many other tourist attractions  a short drive away.Our room was on the ground floor, quite large with a good sized bathroom pretty quiet apart from guests returning to their room later on (the sound proofing does not work when the door has big gaps between the door and frame!).We would return in future if visiting the area.

The hotel is lovely! The decor, the comfort of the beds, the food is really good and breakfast is delicious! Soooo dog friendly Bear had a home from home, lots of fuss and a lovely touch of a doggy treat bag in the room when we arrived! The staff are all lovely, from initial contact checking if we wanted to book the restaurant before we arrived to a lovely big hug as we left! The staff couldn’t have done any more to make our stay any better. Thank you all, we had a great time and will definitely be back! Jane, Gaz & Bear (room12)

Beach House is great!

We booked a last minute room and were pleasantly surprised how lovely and clean and comfortable it was. The bar area in the evening was relaxing and inviting. The breakfast area was hectic. There was a good choice of food and was lovely. The coffee was lukewarm even after we asked for a fresh pot. It’s easy walking distance into town. Overall, a good stay.

This was my second time using this property and whilst the first time was excellent this time wasn’t as good. The main problem was that we were ignored at breakfast and when we did get there attention and ordered they forgot to bring it to us.Also the toilet wouldn’t flush, the basin tap was loose on arrival and it took 2 days to get sorted.

The check-in was quick, seamless and the lass on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful, telling us everything we needed and asking if we had any food allergies.The room was clean, no marks, dust, well presented and had all the amenities we required.The bed was clean, comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate and the views of the Farne Islands was incredible.The hotel itself was immaculate, well designed, good decor and the Eggs Royale for the cooked breakfast the next morning, which was included in the price, was delicious, with other breakfast items available, such as juices, tea/coffee (offered when you arrive), cereal, fruit, yoghurts and pastries.The hotel was quiet and in a good location close to the centre of Seahouses on the seafront.Free parking is included, too.I only live in Wallsend near Newcastle so I often visit Seahouses (nearby Bamburgh, Beadnell and Holy Island/Lindisfarne) 4-5 times per-year as it's a favourite of mine, but this was the first time I've ever stayed in Seahouses itself.I'm very happy we chose this hotel and we'd definitely consider coming back.

Excellent hotel and service, superb views, too.

Lovely very clean hotel, well decorated throughout and lovely and warm. Staff nice, breakfast mostly good. Only few snags, pillows were awful need to invest in new decent ones! Also mattress not that comfy, but only my opinion may suit others. Porridge at breakfast not great, no taste of whiskey as advertised and far too thick! Also coffee far to strong! Small things that are easily fixed, otherwise nice clean hotel.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly and very pro dogs. Breakfast was very nice and good location for getting to the beach and five min walk from Seahouses centre. I had one of the windowless rooms, which wasn't a problem in the deep winter, wouldn't have liked it in summer. Nice little touches of biscuits for me and my dog on arriving. Only niggles they seemed a bit short staffed as one staff member seemed really busy. Plus they said there would be a fridge in my room, for dog food. But there wasn't. However the team very obliging in storing it for me, but if I had known, I would have taken my plug in cool box. But over all a good experience.
