People can make or break a holiday and at the Prana Resort the staff most definitely make it. On arrival at the hotel I overshot the entrance in my hire car so pulled over at the exit, security immediately came over and when I explained I had a reservation but missed the entrance he let me reverse safely back to a space rather than go around. A small detail but it set the tone for our stay. From check-in to departure the staff were simply amazing, creating the most warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to stay here during Songkran (Thai New Year) and the staff went out of their way to create a family friendly party atmosphere. The hotel is split into two parts and you do have to cross the road between them, however, this seemed fairly commonplace with other hotels on Ko Samui and at the Prana there was always security on hand at the roadside who would stop the traffic to ensure you crossed safely. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We had an interconnected room for my daughter which worked really well. Great location, spotless pools and a plentiful and varied breakfast.
