Baliktasi City Hotel

Nice and helpful personnel. Very nice dining area. Breakfast was good. The room was nice and clean.

rooms are large and very clean. bath is large and ofcourse clean. if you want to sleep quite room chose backyard. front rooms are not so much but you can hear cars and trucks. 6th floor you an find the best bar and good restaurant. very good stuff. smile guys and perfect to stay. 

One of the best hotels in Ordu. Staff is so friendly & kind. We had really great time. Especially roof restaurant that they have recently launched on the top floor is amazing. Food is traditionally belongs to eastern part of Turkey and "Adana & Müstesna kebap" are one of my favorites. For dessert, "Cennet camuru & katmer" are breathtaking. Would suggest anyone to try it.

We booked this hotel on booking. com and were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived in our Taxi. We were met by the concierge who carried our luggage to reception. The welcome was a warm friendly and helpful one from the attentive english speaking staff. We were checked in within minutes and accompanied to our room with our luggage. The staff demonstrated all of the room facilitates including how to work the TV. We were then welcomed with a fruit platter and maps and a local tourist guide book delivered to our room. We booked a double room but quite honestly it was as roomy as a suite. Bathrobes, and a little sitting areas is included with a view from room 307 of the main street and across to the local supermarket which has everything you need. This is a modern clean and roomy option in central Ordu. We ate at the Hotel restaurant and like the minibar prices it was value for money with good options and delicious. You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay here.

Excellent hotel in a great location

After making reservations by phone, we could beck in the same day. The lady was very helpful on the phone. I wanted 2 rooms with our children and she suggested that we would book the large suite which consisted of 2 areas with a door in between. We would be able to use the sofa bed for the children in the first ‘room’. (3 and 4 years old). For our youngest of 1, we would get an infant bed in our room. 

Unfortunately, there was no door between the areas. That was a bummer. There also wasn’t an infant bed put in the room. We carry along a Derya inflatable baby tent which we used for the youngest. I don’t think it would have been possible to put an extra bed anyway in the room. 

We had a large bathroom with a tub. All children loved it! That was nice. 

Whe wanted to stay 2 nights and also enjoy the pool and hamam (Turkish bathhouse) 
As it became morning, it became obvious that it was impossible to stay 2 nights. I didn’t sleep the entire night because the bed was so extremely hard... my husband had an awful night as well because of it, but with a little more sleep then I. 
Thus we checked out the next morning. 

While checking out, the receptionist took a booking call. What I noticed was that during the call she was making faces and sighing all the time. It made me feel sad for the person at the other end of the line... 

Breakfast was typical Turkish. Lots of green stuff, salad, tomatoes, cucumber, bread. Nothing special. It was nice they had bottled water though. 

When returning to Ordu, I don’t think we will stay in this hotel. 
Is it a clean hotel? Very. 
Do they have nice facilities? Sure. Are people nice and welcoming? Mostly yes, but only because of the doormen. It was pouring rain when leaving, and the drove the car 3 meters closer, so we wouldn’t get soaking wet and all children got carried with an umbrella to the car. (They loved it!) 

Would I recommend this hotel to a loved one? No. 

Just make your own choices. If you like sleeping on a hard mattress; I’m sure you’ll be fine ;-)

Booked in this hotel for 2 days and the receptionists forced me to check out for one day only, with very bad treating and type of manner I’m so disappointed and this is will be my last time in this hotel and if you book with them make sure you have an invoice
