Hotel JL No76

The hotel was very nice, more upmarket than it appears online. Beds are comfortable, Rooms are a nice size, and feature 1 chair, a (older) flat screen tv, plenty of sockets, and bonus uk sockets above the sideboard, bathroom, great shower, i was in room 205, jacuzzi style bath. (I didnt actually use it but its large) you get plenty of towels a hairdryer, soap, shampoo coffee machine, kettle, slippers, fridge, safe, the room also has aircon (was a bit rattley). housekeeping was great, and when requested, concierge was informative and helpfull. Its a converted Dutch house type affair, I would definitely reccomend it. They offer a buffet breakfast onsite, for over 20 euro, its in my opinion pricey, just a little above this price point I would expect room service, and I think more would take them up at that option, i would have, did I mention some rooms have balconys too, no smoking, but imagine breakfast in the trees of this elegant tree lined street, I spent 6 great years as a maintenace man for the ritz hotel london, this hotel is definatly a gem with potential to go even harder than it allready does, such as a limited room service, it has a honesty bar you can use with snacks, there is also a fridge in the room, maybe a minibar for those munchies moments may entice more sales. the street is quiet, Location is exceptionally good, its close to the affluent area, but still close to reasonably priced cafes bars and restaurants, minutes from the hustle and bustle of the musems, there is also a regular and easy to use tram service 5 minutes away, allowing you to get anywhere in the city within 30 minutes. We went to zuid station from the airport, rather than the normal central, from zuid you get a tram a couple of stops and you are litrally around the corner from the hotel. Overall a great break, I paid £510 per person for 2 people with 2 rooms and 3 nights, from easy jet mid August.
