We wanted to stay for one night in the some place in the city centre and found this hotel incidentally. We were really surprised about price and view. Wonderful view of the main attraction - Afyonkarahisar’s castle. Super  customer-oriented stuff. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and hotel. They have a large delicious breakfast, and the views of the citadel from the rooms are stunning! Highly recommended.

Attentive, helpful staff , best service in my 2 months in Turkey. Fruits on arrival and next day in my room . Spacious room, upgraded. Excellent value for money. Noisy road on the side with view. Many do not have A/C but they gave me a fan. I recommend.

Of course the five stars I give to this hotel isn´t about luxury. It´s related to how un-expensive it is, of course, you don´t get gold or silk for that price. But above all I´m rating what is priceless - a warm atmosphere and wonderful treatment. The man at the desk even lend me his private credit card to buy a bus ticket, when the company wouldn´t accept my foreign. Breakfast is good, though I missed the coffee; only instant coffee isn´t good enough I think, though I admit I didn´t pay a lot for the stay. I don´t have the habit to start the day with a vegetable soup, but it is not a bad idea at all! The only disturbing detail is that smoking is allowed on the rooms, but with the balcony door open I didn´t suffer much from the smoky smell either.

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown. Bed and bathroom were comfortable and clean.  Great place and price for a short visit of Afyon.

The hotel is a little faded, but nevertheless very comfortable. The best thing about my stay was the warm and attentive response of the reception staff. There was a level of service that one rarely finds. The hotel is right in the centre of Afyonkarahisar, and the breakfast is great.

The hotel is in the middle of the town. There's a free parking near hotel. The staff welcomed us with cold watermelon and cherries. The wi fi is very good. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very big. 

Hotel Soydan is in central Afyon a short walk from the old town and memorial square. Front rooms have a great view of the castle, but also suffer from some road noise.
There is no parking onsite, but there is an inexpensive underground car park within 200 metres and free street parking nearby.
Reception staff were welcoming in both English and Turkish. The room and ensuite shower room were comfortable and clean. WiFi was fast in the room.
Breakfast was the usual Turkish hotel buffet with eggs, cheese, jams, etc. In addition, clotted cream for which Afyon is famous was served at the table. Tea and instant coffee.
The service and facilities are fantastic for the budget price.

Wonderful treatment

Afyon is a great city, and this hotel is in the best location I can imagine. It's very close to the landmark castle and other sights, and is essentially in the happening hub of Afyon.  There's no way I would want to stay way out in those spa hotels.

I am giving this 4 stars, although it was perfect for us; affordable, convenient, and friendly. It is due for a facelift, there's no question, but the facilities are fine, the people are very friendly, and the location is perfect. I suspect that because it hasn't been refurbished Ina. While the price is lower than it would be. For that reason, we stayed and extra night so that we could enjoy Afyon for another day.

Great value! Perfect location. Hotel Soydan is a great place to stay in Afyon.

It is a budget hotel. i stayed for 300 TRY. In city center. Close to (uzun çarşı) and historical visit sites. Breakfast was in accordance with the  budget price. Staff were helpful. There was smoke smell in the room but they showed me other rooms to choose. I will come here again

Best hotel we could find in Afyonkarahisar.

Good central location, with in my case a spectacular view of Afyonkarahisar castle towering above the town.staff were most attentive and helpful.

Great location, clean room, friendly staffBut was no hot water, just lukewarm... and heavy smog from using stoves in town.
