Caretta Beach Hotel

Our adventure at Caretta Beach Hotel in Alanya was everything I hoped for... and more! It was my first time in Turkey and my first solo trip with my boys. From morning to night, we were splashing through pools, racing down water slides, dancing at mini disco, and enjoying every single show the hotel had lined up. The animation team deserves a standing ovation — they kept both kids and adults entertained with contests, workouts, and non-stop fun. Major shoutout to Recep Erdal the heart of the team! His energy is infectious and his humor lights up the stage. We also adored Fabio, the zumba master and Margarita, queen of aqua fitness. The kids club lady was simply magical. 💃 As for me? Aqua fitness, zumba, relaxing spa moments... total balance. I even won a free facial, which turned into an irresistible full-body massage with hot stones and face treatment. Ramazan, you’re a massage genius! And yes, prices are negotiable — good news for spa lovers. 🍴 Now let’s talk food. Turkish cuisine is delicious and there’s plenty to choose from — meat dishes (chicken, lamb, beef), fish, veggie meals, desserts, salads, fruit, and free drinks and wine. My picky eaters missed classic pizza and nuggets, though those were available at the beach snack bar at certain hours. Afternoon cookie breaks at the café became our daily ritual 😋 🏖️ The beach is rocky, but guess what? My little mineral fan loved it! We brought home a whole bucket of beautiful stones — and no extra luggage fees, thankfully! There's also a hotel photographer doing fun mini sessions for free — editing and prints only cost a few euros. 📶 Wifi is paid but worth it if you want access throughout your stay (multi-device option available). Just a heads-up: to grab the best poolside spot, you need to wake up early. As a mom with two boys, I skipped the evening parties — but sunrise by the sea, quiet meditation, and the comfiest sunbeds totally made up for it. Long story short? We came back sun-kissed and full of joy. We're still dancing to Tarkan’s hits from mini disco and dreaming of our next Turkish escape.
