SUNRISE Arabian Beach Resort

I stayed here with my partner in September 2025, and had the most amazing time. The hotel itself was gorgeous, very clean and modern, and close to the airport which is always a plus for me (no real air traffic noise though). The staff are an absolute asset, and there are a few that really made our stay even better. I have added pictures (we didn't get pictures with all the staff but the ones pictured are Ehab and Abdel Hameed from the adult only pool, A Ali from Basilico restaurant and Amir the lifeguard). We had a room down by the adult only pool, the room was clean, spacious and overall very comfortable. It wasn't noisy, and having a bus stop for the hotel coach outside the room was really handy! We did have a few issues with our room safe, however this was sorted by Matthew on reception (we had to have new safes installed as there were some technical issues), thank you Matthew, you are a star! The food was nice, wide range catering for everyone's needs. We mainly ate at the international buffet and Basilico, and we did try the Indian one night. You do have to make reservations but this is easy to do. The lamb kofte's and selection from the pasta station were my personal faves. The sea was beautiful, I started this trip with a fear of the sea, and ended it with a new found love for snorkelling - the fish we saw were amazing. This is where Amir was wonderful, he was very alert and attentive, could see I was scared but also recognised my determination to get in there and he was really helpful and encouraging. We had some lovely, engaging conversations with Ehab and Abdel Hameed down by the pool, telling us the story of the Hoopoe bird, and chatting to us about the lizards and just getting to know them in general was a real pleasure. Ehab made sure we were never thirsty, hydration is key in the Egyptian heat! Neither could do enough for us no matter how many times we said we were okay. Abdel Hameed does a great job of making sure the pool is clean, and that you have everything you need whilst you're there, there's even books you can read if you need some light entertainment. There is no shortage of pools in this place, and all of them are gorgeous. On the first day, I had a facial at the hotel beauty lounge, I dealt with Marwa who was such a sweetheart, and Sophia was the beauty therapist and all I can say is wow, thank you ladies! We only did one excursion during our stay, which was a day trip to Cairo, it was absolutely amazing, a must see if you get the chance, and we couldn't wait to get back to our room at the end of the day. Being all inclusive, our fridge was always well stocked with bottled water, local beers and soft drinks like Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite etc. There is a hotel taxi service, if you want to venture out to Soho Square, Naama Bay, the Old market etc, we did use this however also used InDrive aswell (just like Uber). We have agreed we will definitely return to Sunrise Arabian, for our first time in Egypt we were so glad we picked this hotel. Everything was so easy, relaxing and I can safely say I miss it now I'm back home in the UK. Thank you to all of the Sunrise Team for a truly wonderful holiday.
