Basically, i was very impressed with Shabana. I booked superior room for period of stay 6 to 7 Aug 2022. However, she delightly gave me an upgrade to Deluxe. Though the room is on the first floor and does not consists of a window, the size of the room is bigger than Superior. There is a bidet in the toilet. However, the wash basin is next to the door. There is a bistro bar on the first floor. Non smoking rooms, not an issue for me. Smart TV that allows you to cast from the phone. Slight wifi issues but not an issue, as when you have unlimited data, just tether. Deluxe room consists of an extra bed. Seamless check-in as there is only 16 or 18 rooms in The Daulat. Not forgeting the small, cute swimming on the second floor. 8 mins walk from Little India MRT, 4 mins walk from Jalan Besar MRT. Alot of food options across the road. There is a liquor shop just across the road from the hotel. Well this review is right after check in as I am truly impressed with the customer service. I reckon those terrible reviews that I have read is from those very fussy travellers. This hotel is fuss free. Just rmbr to prepare $100 for security deposit either in Cash or Credit Card only.
