315 reviewsThe short version: This hotel feels like home: warm and welcoming. The rooms are small suites minimal but well decorated. The location is off the main road and a few minutes walk from the port and bus station The long version Getting there: from the port, we walked on the main street and then up a small hill. It is a short 8 minutes walk. Check-in: from the start you feel welcome. The front desk staff Elena was happy to see us and made us feel at home from the start. She was friendly and offered advices and recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. She was very accommodating and went beyond our expectations everytime we asked for something. The stay: the room/suites are really nice. They are painted all white and the shower is in gray ceramic. The room was cleaned daily and the towels replaced every 2 days. The breakfast is €10 if not included in the reservation and it is well worth it. We took the one-day boat tour with their agency and seriously we cannot recommend it enough. It was the highlight of our stay: the swimming stops are mesmerizing and the staff are super friendly and fun. The food was plenful and delicious (thank you Nikos!) and the drinks were unlimited. Wonderful hospitality and service. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main bus station and we took the bus to the Sarakaniko beach (must see) and the Plaka. The cost was €1.80 per ride and you pay when you get off the bus. Check out: easy and smooth General advices: 1- Book your ferries as early as possible. If you know the exact dates then I would recommend buying then all when you arrive. The boats are limited and often sold out. So book early to avoid surprises. 2- Get a sim card for data and calls from the airport or from the street vendors. The physical sim card work much better than the e-sim and are cheaper. We paid €12 for unlimited data with Vodafone 3- when we got to Milos, we couldn't rent a scooter nor a squad. They were all booked. We ended up using the bus and it was fine but if you really want to rent a transportation then you should do it in advance online. Also keep in mind that most of these agencies require a minimum of 2 days rental
