Our family had a blast doing the beginner snowmobiling trip on and off trails. Our guide, Scott, was fantastic- he gave us top-notch instruction, was incredibly patient digging us out of powder and made the trip non-stop fun. He tailored our route to suit the various skill levels- some of us chose to stick to trails, but Scott took our son off-trail so he could enjoy the spectacular handling of these sporty snowmobiles. The snowmobiles were Polaris 650’s, which were new and very nimble. We rented snowsuits, helmets and beacons so you don’t need any specialized gear for your own. Another highlight was picking Brooks Creek Lodge as our lunch stop- it was so charming and the food was great. If you’re moderately fit and enjoy some adventure, don’t hesitate to book this trip at Togwotee Mountain Lodge. I’d ask for Scott again, but all the staff were extremely friendly.
