I wanted to thank you for the wonderful hospitality that I experienced while in residence. It started with the polite and efficient airport pick-up, continued with the seamless check-in by the front desk associates, and was ever-present throughout my short but sweet stay. Special shout out to a few outstanding associates: The front desk manager (a gentleman whose name I have unforgivably forgotten!) provided the warmest and most personal welcome. Sensing my fatigue after a long flight, he provided me with all the important essentials and then sent me to my beautiful room. His cheerful demeanour, as if he was welcoming a friend, was an effective salve to my jet-lag. Rai who guided me to my room after check-in, and who was always at the lobby providing assistance or a kind word, is a credit to the service culture of the property. He took it upon himself to show me around the property, and went out of his way to guide me to the fitness centre after dropping off my bags. Isaac at concierge was wonderful with accommodating my requests: from transportation to special logistics (!), and just general advice on navigating the city. And all done with a huge smile!The car service/drivers were all great not just at driving but also hospitality. Asim spent the day between Dubai and Abu Dhabi with me, and I could not have asked for a better (or smoother) guide! You have a fabulous offering, providing guests with an oasis of calm in this busy city. While in the resort, I forget that I am in one of the busiest cities in the world (that four minute drive into the hotel might as well have been a four hour flight to an island retreat!). The rooms have been beautifully maintained and combine modern comfort with local cultural touches, while the public areas are spacious, serene and splendidly designed. Breakfast is a treat - I could not believe my eyes when I saw ice cream being offered, and what a spread of local and international favourites, including an endless spread of pastries and cakes (a whole Tarte Tropezienne!). I would definitely wake up in time for this! So once again, thank you for the great experience. I can't wait for the new rooms to be ready - though don't take away the magic of the current ones!
