SunSquare Cape Town

We spent three nights here on a group tour. Our second floor room had a pleasant view over the garden/pool area. (The other side of the hotel looks towards Table Mountain.) Despite being near a road, we were not aware of any noise in the room. The room and bathroom were adequate in all respects, very well-equipped, and (most importantly) very clean. Excellent shower. Effective air-conditioning. Daily room servicing was of a high standard. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of hot and cold choices, including eggs/omelettes cooked to order. The bar (and also the restaurant) seemed to be open most of the day. There is a pleasant lounge/terrace area overlooking the gardens and pool, where you can sit with a drink. It is efficiently run, and they give you copies of the bills you sign to the room. We had a buffet dinner here on one evening of our stay, which was very good. Reception staff were generally friendly and helpful. (One male staff member was particularly helpful, but unfortunately I didn’t make a note of his name.) Check-in and check-out were straightforward. We were able to keep the room late on our day of departure (before a late flight) for a modest charge. There was nothing to fault in our stay here!
