This was a great hostel for us, it is very centrally located and perfect for our stay in Amsterdam!! You are a short tram away from the museums, and other major attractions. It is a great place to stay especially for the price. They don’t have lockers but they have a safe and it is an easy system to use to store your valuables.

In terms of a place to stay, it ticks all the boxes. The hygiene on the other hand is another story, apart from the fact we were moved rooms whilst out of the hostel, loosing a pair of PJ’s and a fleece in the process  and not informed untill we came stumbling in at 0400 our new room had a genuine villain in it. When we awoke at 1000 the next day we found that one of our lovely room mates had Pooed, yes POOED 💩 on the floor of our room before making a quick exit.  Not just the floor the door handle and sink. 

Once we escaped the room we informed the staff who were less than surprised. Still got the deposit back so 10/10 for customer service. 

Overall not a bad place to stay a bit far away from the centre so is an absolute trek to get back if you can’t obtain a taxi. Beds are comfy enough and showers do the job.

For a short stay alone it’s perfect for people who don’t mind a little bit of scrappiness.

I like the stay! The people were nice, there was a cute fluffy surprise named Mira. A bit og snoring but that's what you ger in a dorm. All in all I had a great experience.The only thing I was missing is a stove in the kitchen.

Good place to rest and relax after a long day of walking around

I have travelled all over the world to Australia, Bali, Thailand, Fiji, USA but I have never stayed at a hostel so welcoming and warm!! The manager and employees were all so helpful and friendly. Travelling alone is not easy but this hostel had that family vibe! I definitely recommend this hostel. It was fantastic and cheap. You can’t beat the location it’s right beside the museum, parks, shops anything you want to do is in walking distance!! Come here and see for yourself how awesome it is!!

If you are lost with 3 best friends in Amsterdam at 4am in the mornin’, this place can give you a big rest and happiness, thanks for everything guys, everything was good, cheap, helpful and enough to continue next day with a fresh mind🤙🏾🤤

Great hostel with good energy and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind — they take care of the guests, offer coffee in the morning, and make you feel at home. It’s very centrally located, perfect for exploring Amsterdam. Just a short tram ride to museums and other main attractions. The price is great, and they also have a safe and easy system to store your valuables. Highly recommended!

good location, good staff

I had a really good stay here. Sure, the booking rules are a bit odd, but they were clearly stated, with plenty of time to cancel if I disagreed. The staff were all nice, the 21 person dorm was in fairly good condition. The toilet and shower were perfectly sufficient, and the cleanliness of them depends on the cleanliness of your fellow guests. The one thing that would have added to ths trip would be a more relaxed socialising area. Overall, I recommend the place if you are travelling on a budget.

Hi I’m here more then one week nice and quiet place easy access to supermarket surrounding by cafe restaurants  bakery and more …, most important very close to the city by walking. I find It nice clean and tidy the staff so friendly and polite and very helpful. 
There’s cantine in the hotel you can bring your own food full kitchen available with all necessary fridge microwave coffee machine…

Peace of mind

The reception staff, and the manager in particular, are nice people. The rooms are relatively comfortable, though they lack many power outlets. Bathrooms are fairly clean. The breakfast was limited and there isnt much of an area to relax in. Overall it is a decent, affordable hostel in a good location.

Decent

The Hostel is what you expect for the Price. It was quite Ok but I could not really sleep at night as people were just going in and out. and again there was so much noise from the common room till like 2:30 am. On the plus side, the breakfast was as expected and the staff were quite helpful in checking in but not checking the noise.
