Amulet on Malaya Morskaya Living Quarters

We checked into the Amulet Hotel on Thursday afternoon. The hotel is at level 2 and there is a small lift which can accommodate 1 person and 1 luggage). It was too creepy for me and my wife to take. The receptionist (1st shift probably from 10am to 9pm) whom can speak good English. She helped us to get the entry registration within 15minutes before we head out to sight seeing. The lady at night (night shift from 9pm to morning 10am)stayed in one of the room. So when entering the hotel, there will be someone there 24/7. The room we had is deluxe double room. The bed is nice and soft. The room is slightly small for 2 big check in luggages. Recommend to get superior double room if you have more budget but it will be harder to book as I think the total rooms are around 7 to 8. The bathroom is nice and clean but the shower drain always choke. It will be good to bring hotel slipper as the bathroom floor is cold. The room is cold if you open the window and there is heater outside the room (in short there is no air conditioning in room). My wife and me love the breakfast they provided (total there is 7 options to choose from), you just inform the hotel which breakfast set you want and the timing to have it. It will be standard with 2 slices of bread, yogurt, corn & green peas, coffee/tea and the choice of; -boiled eggs with mayonnaise -fried eggs -sandwich cheese and sausage -corn flake with milk -crepes -porridge -muesli with milk -prepared with love It is convenient to go around to Hermitage museum and river cruises (walking distance). There are many supermarkets and restaurants around so that you can grab something along the way.
