Hotel Gat Point Charlie Berlin

Location is super - a few mins walk from Stadmitte underground station (well connected to airport - one change at Friedrichstraße Station and on to the airport) as well as Checkpoint Charlie, Welt Balloon, Berlin Mall and the Berlin Wall Memorial. If you're interested in going on the sight seeing bus, two of the hop on points is the wall and checkpoint Charlie too. The Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag were within walking distance, about 20 mins or so and Potzdamer Platz was also about a 10/15 min walk. If you're into History, this is a great base as so much information is on the doorstep of this hotel. Can't comment on the food offering as didn't eat, but there was a place called Le Femme nearby which was reasonably priced and very big portions (IMO) also halal which helps it you're Muslim. There was a few other places we ate in nearby too - if you're into Gaming there was a burger restaurant which looked like it was also a gaming hub and perhaps held some e-gaming events there. The burgers were really juicy and reasonably priced too. Cleanliness of the room - a couple of suspicious stains on the carpet and a small chair but I was sure to keep my shoes on during my stay. Other than that, no issues. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was spacious with sofas and a super king bed - very comfortable and no issues with outside noise in the evening (our windows faced what looked like a courtyard looking out to he welt balloon area). We didn't interact with staff much but check in was seamless. We arrived about 5 hours before check in to leave luggage in a hold room, but they allowed us to enter our room early at no cost which was really helpful and kind. They seemed knowledgeable on public transport and what to do in Berlin and spoke several languages too.
