Excellent
370 reviewsEser is a home away from home for us. My children and I love to return every year. Our rooms were fantastic and the housekeeping staff were prompt and diligent. Special thanks to the beautiful Yildiz 💜 and the speedy and polite Farkan. I hope I spelled their names correctly. Then there was the reception staff, especially the gorgeous Zulal, and everyone else were down to earth, professional, friendly and absolutely wonderful and helpful in every way possible. The security and concierge were always there for me and my kids keeping us safe. And Resul was outstanding bless him. He's such a multi tasker!!!! I can see him with a great career in the hotel industry for sure. The guest relation manager Engin, was great and spoke excellent English. He was always checking on us and making sure everything is well for us. On the breakfast team we were pampered and taken care of every morning by a very young chef, who was still in her final year of highschool, but she was a star, her name is Kardilen breakfast chef. She was totally on it. Running around making sure food is served as if it was her own home kitchen. She made us feel as if we were in her dining room!!! ❤️ I wish her the best best success and I truly believe she has such a bright future ahead of her and I strongly believe that the management at Eser have made an excellent decision when hiring her. She must return to Eser every summer. And then there was the morning serving staff. Ferhat was the quiet but hard working one moving around the tables non stop. His polite and kind smile I will never forget. Then there was Fifi and Elanur. So cute and chatty and giggled as they make small conversation with me and my girls while they cleared tables and set them up. Then there is Esdin, the master of the breakfast hall. Walking around serving Turkish tea to people here and there, as if he's in his home town corner cafe. Very very very welcoming and very helpful and helpful remembers every old guest even if someone from 11 years ago, like myself 😂. He actually remembers how my little twin boys used to look like when they were babies and was so proud to see them now 12 years old. He's got amazing memory. I literally cried on my last morning as I left the breakfast hall. I will miss them all so much. And not to forget the variety and quality of the food served at the breakfast buffet. The unique clotted cream and precious honey, which are my favourite Turkish foods. All local produce. These are a few of the fantastic people I have gained as family in Buyukcekmece at Eser hotel. The safety of this hotel and the warmth of its staff and managers, is worth more that the thousands of dollars spent at a 5 star hotel that has staff working like bodies without souls. Turkey was represented at this hotel in it's best form 👍 And the front office manager Mr Sarhad, is the true hero behind those amazing people. I watched him around the hotel non stop working. Not just at the reception but everywhere. He was on top of every department. As if the hotel is his huge home that he has to care for. What a great captain he was and well done all the other managers for running splendid teams. Thank you everyone who has made our stay wonderful. I'm sorry if I forgot some of the names. But genuinely, everyone was a star in their own way ✨ Also the sea across the road from the hotel and the sea view from the hotel window, the Turkish coffee and rice pudding in the lounge reception area and the awesome team at the gym and swimming pool 🏖️ ⛵ we will miss everything 😭 It's an excellent choice of hotel if you want to experience life in a lovely typical Turkish neighbourhood. Shops, restaurants and everything you need is around the corner. It's less than 2 min walk away from the beach and less than half an hour drive away from Istanbul airport IST. And you can commute in busses or cabs from the road outside the hotel or just walk around. We rented bycicles just a few shops down the road. We spend every morning afternoon and evening at the beach and the pool. And the mall is a 4 minute walk away around the corner from the hotel. Opposite the hotel there is a fantastic hair dresser called Yakup. I think we had our hair done 4 times while staying at Eser. And the best part is that we didn't feel like tourists. Everyone in the area made us feel at home too. As if we lived there too. It's such a lovely area and my kids love it. Teşekkürler everyone 😘 and see you all hopefully next summer coz I'm definitely coming back💪
