Love this eclectic hotel 
It’s not modern, the bathrooms are average at best but it’s location is great and it’s been decorated in true Moroccan colours 
It’s not 5 star by any means but it was fine for a few nights
Breakfast is average but you can get a fresh omelette so not all bad

I can't believe I could use this beautiful hotel at an affordable price. I can't forget the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and a room with beautiful windows.

This is a small boutique hotel located just across the way from the main plaza. The staff is great. The rooms all have amazing detail, even the ceiling. The breakfast is good. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean. The downstairs area is very large and comfortable.

I would like to thank the staff for their amazing hospitality and kindness. The cleaness, the charming typical decoration and the location make of this hotel an amazing place to stay .

The location of this hotel is perfect. Staff are friendly. The lobby and the rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional colours and furniture.  It had been raining heavily for 10 days, and hence there was some flooding in some of the rooms when we stayed there. 
Breakfast was typical Moroccan pastries. They also made fried eggs on request.  
I had a working AC and heater in the room and a water heater in the bathroom.

I was originally going to give this hotel three stars because it has some rough aspects to it, but it really has a lot of charm and character to it so I moved it to 4.

Pros: The rooms are beautiful. They include a lot of decoration and some rooms have balconies. Our room had a sitting area with cushions and windows that opened up to a view. A lot of the ceilings and walls were hand-painted throughout the hotel and inside the room.

Cons: The bathroom is a bit rough. The sink was loose, the whole thing was extremely small, and the shower was tiny so just expect water to spray pretty much everywhere. 

If these are things you can live with, I highly recommend it because it really is a great place to stay on a budget! Although it is not in the Medina, it's still in a really great location to access it quickly.

I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour of Morocco. Everyone on the trip was happy with their room, but I really lucked out and got a huge, elaborately decorated room on the 3rd floor. It had a nice sized bed with an enormous seating area (seriously, about 8 people could hang out in this room on the couch). 

The one downside was the bathroom. It was WAY too small. You had to wedge yourself in to use the toilet. The shower was this strange stone structure with no curtain so water went all over the bathroom floor. Still, the room itself more than made up for the bathroom.

Breakfast was OK. Not bad, not great. Morocco in general just doesn't have good hotel breakfasts. I would choose this place again if in town because of its great location and comfy rooms.

Great Location

Has charm, but a little rough around the edges

Overall, a nice choice in Chefchaouen

This is a colourfully decorated hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was a good size, others in our party had much smaller rooms. It’s fairly  basic, although it is clean and the doona was beautifully soft and cosy. With our room being over the front entrance there was a bit of yahooing heard late evening, but it didn’t last long. The hotel is relatively close to the main square/kasbah with easy entrance to the medina. I hope you like olives at breakfast. Initially  we had flexible wifi but on our 2nd day we had no problems at all.

Good location

Staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, willing to help you with anything you might need. Welcome tea and biscuits. Each room has a different decor. The doors are sometimes difficult to open and you may or may not have a shower curtain/enclosure. The heater worked well in the room. Light was not especially good. WiFi can be a little spotty depending where you are in the hotel. The communal space on the lobby floor is spacious and welcoming - especially by the fireplace built like a bass instrument. Close to the medina and within walking distance of many eateries.
