I have stayed in a variety of New York hotels and this is my favourite one. From the minute we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and the staff were so friendly. Betty, the lovely front desk lady, was very smiley and kindly gave us an upgrade to a deluxe 1 bedroom suite. Their friendliness really made our stay. The room was incredible - truly stunning and spotless. I was blown away when I saw the space and felt so at home. Extremely comfortable bed, huge TV, lovely bathroom and great AC which was really appreciated in August in NY. Loved the location, quiet on the UWS, close to bakeries, great restaurants, the park, but well connected via the subway. It felt a little out of the way of the hustle and bustle which was so pleasant in summer plus it felt safe. Great and easy access in/out of the city for the airports. I was also thrilled to see it was a dog friendly hotel and it was great to see all the staff greet the dogs too! I can’t speak highly enough about this hotel and I will definitely be staying here when I return to NYC. I have spent so long searching reviews on tripadvisor in the past for a good hotel in New York that isn’t extortionately expensive (which can sometimes be a little touch and go!) and if that’s you, take it from me and book in at The Wallace. To be honest, I think it’s already ruined future hotel experiences for me as it was so excellent! Thank you The Wallace for making our stay so special. X
